Urgent Message? Or Just A Weird Feeling?

"Wherever you are, please answer my call here."

Last Monday, it was the biggest Plurk post of mine that i ever received, but somehow, it's not all about a cheeky message of love or a proposal. I screamed like Chowder telling Panini that he's not her boyfriend, i said, "I'm not your girlfriend!" But thanks a lot, Ryan Bang, the message 'Chuva Choo-Choo' was sent by someone to a girl like me. Like i received a love or friendship letter, written in cute stationery. (Oh crap, i started to collect stationery letter sets & letter pads & this means i need to buy more ballpens in different colors.) It was crazy, i can't believe that someone sent me a message that could drive me nuts! But it was worth it, oh-so-Shabby Chic w/ a crazy Toku twist. (Like what's next, tons of pics of my Toku crushes? Oh boy.) But somehow, i felt i acted weird because it was since June 12 where i acted more excited than quiet. The height of Toycon 2010, it was the event of the moment. But i felt more happy, not really under pressure. Even when i'm under pressure, i felt happy for myself for now.

But how does it all started? I wasn't oh-so-online for 2-3 hours on my Plurk until i checked it out & boom, i got a message that shocked me, it's kinda cheesy, just because it was like a love letter, but from a friend? It's ok, worth it! My heart beats fast & i acted crazy like a girl in a sugar rush, i even thought that my favorite Toku crushes sent me a message that could drive me crazy. But i need to wait for the next Anime conventions came November & December to receive some pre-Christmas gifts. The songs that suddenly played in my head were like oh-so K-Pop, like the danceable yet love-worth SS501 track called 'Love Like This' to Super Junior's energetic 4th album tittle track, 'Bonamana' which i would rather love to dance when i'm energetic. Those were the 2 songs from 2 K-Pop Boy Bands were playing on my head since the start of this month, but how come? Just because i saw some Plurk posts that i liked from Satoru-chan where he posted some Boukenger pics & Momo-chan started this 'Chuva Choo Choo' craze upon me. All i need to wait right now is the time dad will buy a new MP4 player for himself & he will give me his old MP4 Player which kinda looks like an iPod. Ok, i need to get started on being a Shabby Chic for now. But still, the good memories of the 1st half of 2010 will still be remained.

Always Attend An Anime Convention On A Sunday

It started as a first turn, but it's now a habit. I always attend an Anime convention on a Sunday, since that was my free day during the weekend. For this year, i can't forget attending the Ozine Fest & the Toycon, it was oh-so-fun! But before on the day itself, during Friday & Saturday, i was on the stage of prepping myself up, doing what i should do before the big day itself. Like i would make a story on the week i will attend an Anime convention. But it's only stuck in my head, i won't share it until if i wanted to. But on the weekend itself before the Sunday i will attend an Anime convention, i was more on the prep up stages before the big day itself. Like looking good, feeling good & acting good. But somehow, on the day of April 11, what i thought is just a simple day at SM Megamall, but it was gone interesting when i attend Ozine Fest 2010. Toycon 2010 was all about meeting friends & receiving post b-day gifts. But good thing i got a copy of the Myx Mag K-Pop Special Edition Issue. I don't know what will happen next came the Hero Con & Manila Toys Expo at SM Megamall. But i need to be ready for the pre-Christmas gifts.

Since yesterday, the thoughts of last week is still in my head, like the song was playing in my head non-stop was Super Junior's energetic track, 'Bonamana'. It was just almost a week after my declaration of the Bonamana Day. It was also the height of the rainy season since summer is already over, but the bad news, i haven't got a haircut, as in, i never went to the salon after last December where i sported a Lelouch-inspired haircut. But this time, i might sport a hairdo like Kit Taylor. But the most surprising pre-Ozine Fest buzz i heard from my dad was he is giving me his MP4 Player which looks like an iPod Nano. But what was missing for me? A micro SD card & a card reader, but it looks like i know what the songs i will put there, Bonamana is surely 1 of it. But for the pre-Toycon day, i was more on the completing the Jollibee Kids Meal-Card Captor Sakura Gifts of Magic toys. Last June 12, i got the Card Captors Mystic Tattoo, but last June 19, i finally got the Kero Magic Note-roll, just a week apart. But the day falls on a Saturday. Good, good. But i haven't open the toys from their plastic bags until June 20, i will open it on the day after i attend the Toycon. But what is one thing i didn't know that i didn't planned? The outfit. Oh crap.

Maybe the next time i attend the next Anime convention on a Sunday & the weekend itself, i need a prep up. So, i need to pull out a Shabby Chic-like image on the next time i have to commence the plan of my life.

Taylor & Twilight

'JTC will surely freak out if he saw this, but somehow, who would love to see Doraemon in a KR suit?'

Ok, so do you guys ever heard of Kamen Doraemon? (Doraemon in a Kamen Rider suit) If not, surprise! It's been a week after the Toycon, but i need to focus next on The Twilight Saga, i admit, i'm only into the 1st book, Twilight & i haven't finished it yet, but i was trying to get in to the Twilight fever, so, adding up in the list of the back issues that i should buy are the Candy Special Issues for the Twilight saga, including the present one for Eclipse. But during the 2nd day of Toycon last Sunday, i was more focused to buy the Myx Mag K-Pop Special Edition ish & i went to several magazine stores in Megamall & Trinoma, but good thing i found it at National Bookstore-Trinoma. My hardwork just payed off, good thing i found it. Toycon week was really the most intense week of my life, ever. But i just can't get over the day before Toycon & i need to go out to fetch my little sister. I drink too much Coke Light & Coke Zero during that time, i just reminded myself of the pic i saw in Plurk w/ Light Yagami of Death Note for Coke Light & Lelouch Vi Britannia aka Zero for Coke Zero. Don't forget to add the energetic Coke Zero tune from J-Pop Icon Namie Amuro. Just because i want to have the last of the 2 Card Captor Sakura-Gifts Of Magic which is free w/ every Jollibee Kids Meal. I got it! But what's next for me? I won't tell, but maybe the DVD's i want to watch & a copy of the Chalk UAAP-NCAA July 2010 issue.

It looks like the episodes in Kamen Rider Dragon Knight gets even more deeper & deeper than ever. Now General Xaviax has Kit's dad, will Kit get his dad back? Since a month ago, there was a clash of personalities between Hua Ze Lei & Kit Taylor, although they have the same bed-head layered bob, they come from 2 different worlds, has 2 different lives to tackle & their personalities clash to each other. For Lei, his heart was broken, blame it on Shan Chai. For Kit, he was just like Adam Park, the Power Rangers cutie who found out his fate to become a hero gets even more better, but Kit was destined to become a Kamen Rider, thanks to his Guardian Dragon, Dragreder. My mom calls Kit's Rider Creature as his 'Guardian Dragon' after she watched the 1st 2 episodes of KRDK last month. Unlike Lei, Kit's fate is more on saving the world, winning back to Ventara & Earth & be in the arms of his beloved father. If Lei can't get back on the woman who he loves him the most, Kit will always return to the man he trusted since he came out to this world. Kit Taylor is surely lucky, thanks to his dad. I was even thinking of drawing Kit, taking care of his beloved father. Just because, even in tough times, Kit needs some inspiration, he got it from his dad, but it looks like every KRDK episode is like Father's Day because of the Taylors. But in the end, Kit will surely win back for Ventara & Earth, & of course, he will protect his loved ones, including his dad.
Kit Taylor, if you're reading this, i will tell you you're the luckiest bed-headed brunette ever. You have the coolest BFF in Len, you have the best Advent Deck ever & you're fighting from your heart. Keep fighting in the end & don't get Vented. Len & your dad will be worried about you if that happened. But don't worry, your Guardian Dragon will be there for you.

Early Christmas Gifts

Have you guys heard of the quote, Christmas in July? Yes, just because as early as July every year, it opens the 2nd half, i noticed about it after i read the editor's note on the Chalk UAAP-NCAA July 2009 ish. But as early as today, entering the end of the 1st half of this year, i was even thinking about receiving early Christmas gifts as i try to break the silence of not attending Anime conventions. Good thing summer's big moment when i attend Ozine Fest 2010 gives me the surprise. As in, the biggest surprise of my life, ever.

My little sister, who is determined to graduate next year teased me that i have a crush on Super Junior's funny man, Shindong. She even asked me if i gave her a gift either on Christmas or her birthday which falls on October 13. Instead of me giving gifts to her, it was her giving gifts to me. So, i got to think of what should i give to her on her 21st birthday, let's see..... Maybe a card will do, a personalized card, since i started to make personalized cards when i was in High School. But maybe in exchange for that, she might give me some Ateneo goodies, including a Nico Salva jersey & even a poster of Henry Lau from Super Junior-M. Now, on to my little brother who is a graduating High School student, he was the one who introduced Kamen Rider Dragon Knight to me, so, maybe i would love to give him accessories for his MP3 player like a cool lanyard or spankin' new pair of earphones. In exchange, he might give me some KRDK toys or luckily, i might stop begging some things from him if he gave me a Matt Mullins poster. He might say: 'Remain silent, here's the stuff that could turn down the volume of your voice whenever you want something.'
From friends? Hmm, let me think about it..... As in, as the months draws near to November & December, i don't know what will i receive. Maybe the ones i didn't receive for my birthday, it will be passed on Christmas as Christmas gifts. (Drafted Gift Predictions so far: a life-size figure of KR Blade, Pocky flavors of my choice w/ Pocky x Haruhi stickers & posters of my Super Sentai & KR Crushes! Toku toys too!) What was i thinking about the gifts? The food gifts? Ok, the Pocky w/ the Pocky x Haruhi stickers, i was even picking the perfect flavors for me, but i don't pick the bitter chocolate flavors, just because i'm no bitter chocolate freak. The drinks? I prefer Pepsi, Pepsi Max, Coke Light & Coke Zero. You know my new friends so far, we're having fun & at the same time, making me stronger, like what Len said, 'When we work together, the team becomes stronger.' Like if i have friends who are there to help me, they make me stronger even in the times of trouble. I could remember it on the good times whenever i attend an Anime expo & meet them, exchanging messages thru different communication types & many more. Let's translate what Len said, friendships will be stronger if friends do help each other. I guess what Len thought to Chris about teamwork will be a lesson about comparing being alone to being w/ friends who will make you strong. Len was right.

Complete, But Not Enough

"Enthusiastic, but not very bright." -James 'JTC' Trademore

But for a girl like me, complete, but not enough. Perfect, but not really. Happy, but still wanting for more. That's what i told to myself after attending 2 Anime conventions for the 1st half of 2010. (Ozine Fest & Toycon) Like what if, if i attend more Anime conventions for the 2nd half of 2010 like the Hero Con & the Manila Toys Expo, should i expect the unexpected? Maybe yes, meeting friends & forming a group, buying Pocky & receiving free Pocky x Haruhi stickers. (The question is, i might stick it anywhere, even in my Auntie's room!) Buying a lot of Anime goodies from Comic Alley & even receiving stuff from friends, post-birthday & pre-Christmas gifts. I'M ON IT! But hey, i told to them, we're just good friends..... It was just like myself when i was a new kid on a new school, trying to have new friends & forming a circle of friends. Now this time, attending an Anime convention, meeting up w/ my friends & forming a circle of friends which might be quite too far from the friends i meet at school. But i don't mind it, i just want to have more friends. But hey, it sounds fun.

Friends come & gone, but they become a part of our lives, whenever we're down, lonely & wanting to have a shoulder to cry on or advices to keep ourselves strong. But somehow, forming a group of friends from my friends who loves cosplaying Anime & Toku heroes is far from the friends i meet in school. But somehow, it was really worth it, like i share some Glico-made snacks, ice cream & meals to my new friends matching it w/ Coke Light, Coke Zero & Pepsi. Isn't it sweet? Yeah. But somehow, i would rather wait for November for the Hero Con to commence, but the venue? Let me think that the venue should be near & at the same time, i can go there w/ my Auntie, her friend & her adopted child who loves cosplaying. (That would be fun! New friends meets fun for me!) But somehow, i might go back to school or stuck in a Home-study program next year to continue my academics, i still have good friends to rely on. The world will never go round w/o friends.

Thinking Forward For The Hero Con

It's been 4 years since i attend the H3 con for the year 2006, just because i kept a promise to my BFF to meet up there on the date of November 19. But now, after i told to myself that i have to break my silence on not attending Anime conventions, i was thinking about attending the Hero Con. Toycon was the most heart-stopping Anime con i attend while Ozine Fest is the 1st Anime con i attend in 4 years. Ok, so since the Hero Con helds every November or sometimes, early December, i was thinking about attending there, bring my Auntie or Uncle or BFF along & meet up my friends there like Kuya Deny, Satoru, Kuya Willy Boy, Tak & many more & meet them to Army, my long-time BFF. What was i thinking about? Forming a barkada of fun-loving Otakus? Great, the interesting part, it will be fun & i might receive some post-birthday/pre-Christmas gifts. It will be fun, just because i want to have a group of friends who could make me smile & cheer up whenever i'm sad & when we didn't see each other, i could always remember them & think that i have the good friends ever. That's the power of friendship, as what Len/Wing Knight said, 'If we work together, the team will be stronger.' In other words, if i have more friends, we will be strong, surpassing the tests of time & life. So, 4 years ago & this year might get a mix, came November or early December.

But it's way too early, the Hero Con will be on the final quarter of this year, so i have 4-5 months of prepping myself up, wearing a cute Anime tee, sporting a cool Anime hairdo, inviting my Auntie or Uncle along to join me there, convincing my BFF to join me there & more preparations to come. But hey, it reminds me of school, right? But hey, maybe i could meet up my former school mates & meet my new friends to them, like Kairi? I met her after 3 years last Ozine Fest, she could recognize my face, but she can't recognize my Natsuki Mamiya-like pigtails. Oh god. But, what if i let Kairi meet Kuya Deny, Satoru & the rest of the gang? Wow, this will sound fun, i guess. Not unless i pull out a new look, away from the usual looks i do when attending Anime conventions. Like, should i pull out a KR-inspired image even if i'm a girl? Maybe. Got no choice after all. Pull out a Toku-like image & get it while i can 4-5 months before Hero Con. But somehow, i might form the best group of friends ever.

Asuka Dreams

'If i'm her, maybe i should wear that costume when i get started to cosplay!'

It was about a day before Toycon weekend, i stumble upon this pic as i got started to save some pics of the coolest Toku heroes, some are not in character, way too far from the characters they play in their respective shows. Like, that one! Natsuki Kaitoh aka Miho Kirishima from KR Ryuki, cosplaying as Asuka Langley Soryu from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Wow, isn't she amazing! So as i look on that pic, i asked myself what if i was her, going to an Anime convention, wearing that! Bright idea, nice..... But somehow, it was just like my cousin told me to buy new toys, so i was seriously thinking of the next Toku toys to buy at Toy Kingdom's Anime section. Just because he told me last summer to buy new toys. (Is that it?) Fine, i might buy new toys & get myself to save up some moolah to buy my first Anime costume at Comic Alley & get started to create the Asuka costume.
I'm fresh from Toycon 2010, tired, nervous & happy. I drank too much Coke Zero thru this weekend, like what? But it looks like it reminds me of this from last Saturday:

'Coke Light or Coke Zero? Maybe i prefer both!'
Do you guys listen to Namie Amuro's Coke Zero track called 'Get Wild'? Whoa, that was the song stuck in my head for this weekend. Great, Coke Light & Coke Zero is surely a must-drink.

Too Nostalgic?

It was just like reading old magazines or stumbling upon a piece of heirloom. But somehow, it's just like 3 years ago after i stumble upon my Grandma's old magazines, but let me tell you a story i cannot forget, before i attend Ozine Fest last April 11, before all of the excitement came into me, even before i found out that there was an Anime Convention going on at SM Megamall, there is one piece of heirloom i just found out. Ok, now, here comes the story:

April 11, 2010:
I just arrived at my Grandma's house before heading to SM Megamall, i didn't know that Ozine Fest 2010 enters it's last day today, but before all of the excitement & tension, i found something on the study room while my dad talks to my uncle & my auntie preps up before we 2 girls go to SM Megamall. Aside from reading some of my Grandma's old magazines like Country Living & Victoria, i found something, an old jewelry case like 2 hearts connected. Kinda similar to the comments w/ pics i got from Kuya Deny as he was the 1st Friendster friend greeted me on my 22nd birthday last March. But there was one flaw, one part was broken. But i wished to myself that i want to have it, aside from Grandma's old magazines, but never mind. & it was time to go to SM Megamall, i walked out of the study room & turned around a little to see the box, i said i want to have that w/ the old magazines someday.

(More about the April 11 story-full version to be told on Monday.)

Ok, i feel too nostalgic..... For now, but came tomorrow, that will be the day my life will be changed for the better.

Ateneo vs. La Salle 2010 Focus: Plants vs. Zombies!

If since 2008 & 2009, the rivals are gone on a topsy-turvy turn of events since the return of the legendary rivalry back in 2007, do you guys notice something? Who cannot forget the time when the Ateneo-La Salle face/off back in the year 2007 is like you're watching Power Rangers? Oh yes, 2 former Xavier School stand-outs, Chris Tiu & TY Tang got stuck in the middle of this rivalry, w/ TY went to DLSU & Chris goes to ADMU to continue his Jesuit rights, the rivalry gets intensified than ever. But there are some parts that we never forget to watch like there were some light 'bromance' moments going on. But we can't forget the riot & the tension going on in the games. (Damn you Joshua Webb, you almost kicked Bacon Austria!) Forget the Dao Ming Shi-Xi Men disco rumble scene in Meteor Garden 1, you didn't get if that did happen to the Ateneo-La Salle end of 1st round game aka the Blue, Green & Yellow game. For La Salle, Maui Villanueva started to cry that Hua Ze Lei told the shocking truth about why Shan Chai dropped out of school after breaking up w/ Dao Ming Shi. For Ateneo, 12 (Magic Tiongson, Jai Reyes, Nonoy Baclao, Tonino Gonzaga, Eric Salamat, Kirk Long, Ryan Buenafe, Nico Salva, Vince Burke, Omping Sumalinog, Justin Chua & Frank Golla) out of the 16 players from the 2009 Back 2 Black Champion Team do look like Adam Park, Nico Salva is 1 of them, even he slightly looks like Satoru Akashi & Sakuya Tachibana.

"Adam Park, is that you? Oh, it's just you, Nicolas Raymond Salva."

I punned too much Nico Salva jokes since last year because he kinda looks like Boukenger's Satoru Akashi (Mitsuomi Takahashi) when it comes on the looks & the smile, even the face. HOW STUPID AM I! I don't want to be the craziest Ateneo-La Salle fan girl but somehow, supporting the legendary rivals makes me focus on Ateneo-La Salle Chapter 64: PLANTS VS. ZOMBIES! After i watched a replay of UAAP Season 72, the Blue, Green & Yellow game to end the 1st round of Season 72 & a tribute game to the late Tita Cory, i found out that the game was like the computer game i've been hearing about since summer, Army told me about Plants vs. Zombies on the phone & she's playing. Although i play the trial version, it sounds fun yet worth it. But some think La Salle are the Zombies while Ateneo are the Plants. (Please, Maui Villanueva is like a Japanese Superhero, NOT A ZOMBIE!) But some think in reverse, since La Salle are in Green, they are the plants, while Ateneo are the zombies. It depends on the minds of the fans of both schools who are the plants & who are the zombies. So, stop watching Meteor Garden, set aside your Power Rangers DVD's, toys & video games on the side & start watching Ateneo-La Salle Chapter 64: Plants vs. Zombies!

It's Bliss & Nostalgia, Came Sunday

Since the long weekend, i would think about what should i do came June 20, the day i will attend the 2nd Anime Convention for this year, 2 months after Ozine Fest 2010. It turned out to be the Toycon, actually, i was more on excitement mode more than on nervous mode. As i enter my Auntie's bedroom, i stumble upon a tube of a brown-colored hair mascarra, the perfect temporary Anime makeover tool! (I'd wish i would find the other colors on it, because it will be perfect if i would end up looking like the cutest Anime & Toku characters ever!) Right timing, upon first day of the vacation, i end up watching Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. I also bought 1 of the 2 Jollibee Kids Meal Toys for Card Captor Sakura, the Card Captor Mystic Tattoo. 1 down, 1 to go & it will be the Kero Magic Note Roll. This will be the 1st time i will collect 2 toys from a free toys meal, 3 years ago, i completed the Mcdonald's Happy Meal Toys for Naruto & it took me 2 months to complete it, but that was 3 years ago, it's now this year. Oh yeah, it will take me to buy the last CCS toy for the weekend! I think i remember the nostalgic moments when i was a 7th Grader, during the time i watched Card Captor Sakura.

Where was i? Ok, yesterday, i was surprised that i saw a Plurk post related to a Toku article featured on the October 2006 issue of K-Zone. So i decided to save up some money because i will have a fun shopping spree upon Toycon Day 2 at SM Megamall. It looks like i will buy a bunch of back issues, but not maybe a lot. Like a copy of the K-Zone October 2006 ish & a Myx Mag K-Pop Special Edition Ish. If i'm lucky, i might buy Candy 2008 Back Issue number 8 aka Candy August 2008 aka Candy Issue Number 100! Plus, ACK! I need to buy some magazines that has some Ateneo-related covers & articles. But hey, my Auntie tags along w/ me since she checks out some Anime conventions at SM Megamall's Megatrade Hall. But what makes me excited for the upcoming Toycon? Oh yes, post b-day gifts! I don't know if there will be more, but i'll keep my fingers crossed for that. So, i got my lesson to attend Anime conventions, wear an Anime shirt, have fun & save up a lot of moolah, shopping spree involved! But uh-oh, here comes the rainy days, got to bring an umbrella ASAP!
Well, it will take me time for the 'brown-colored hair mascara' to be in my hands because i need to have a temporary hair makeover by the time i got a haircut. But give me 4 days to prep up before the day of my dear life. The day that will change the way i focus on my life right now.

From Kit Taylor With Love

Itching for a new hairdo? I said i would want to, but the big problem is my perfect hairdo. I might get the hairdo of Vic Zhou, but maybe not his hairdo when he was Hua Ze Lei in Meteor Garden, but maybe like his hairdo in his music videos, either when he's w/ his pop group, F4 or solo. But itching to have the milk chocolate brown hair highlights of Kit Taylor from Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. Something like this:

Bright idea, just because watching too much Kamen Rider Dragon Knight is way too far from the Meteor Garden re-runs of 2007 & 2008. So, forget the days when Lei become a crybaby & think of the days that Kit is knowing how to become a real Kamen Rider. Watch this or get vented.

Yesterday, my little sister hated her new hairdo that she will sport by the time she goes back to Ateneo on the 1st day of school, on her last year as a college student. Yeah, time flies so fast, as in really fast like the progress so far for Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, the process of the story so far. If i could get a haircut, i would rather sport a Kit Taylor-like hairdo since yes, i admit i watched too much Kamen Rider Dragon Knight over the long weekend, can't wait to watch the 'Double Knights' ep of KRDK, equivalent to KRDK ep 16. It's not like the disco rumble scene from Meteor Garden, but it's quite like the scene from Power Rangers RPM where the RPM boys morph. Gak! I nearly forgot about Power Rangers RPM! (Season 17, 15th PR Team) Ok, so, it looks like i need to remember the times i watched Power Rangers before the UAAP Games. If i fail on having Kit's hairdo, i know what to do, grab the curlers! For those who were curious why i want to have the curlers, i won't tell!

Plants vs. Zombies: Get Ready To Soil Your Plants!

I first heard about the hit computer game known as 'Plants vs. Zombies' via my BFF Army on the phone last summer, exactly on the month of May, since i don't have any idea about the game itself, she told me everything about the game itself. So, last Saturday, i played the trial version of Plants vs. Zombies on the Pop Cap site to learn more about the game, the game was quite crazy since i need to soil plants which is defending the garden from the zombies. The zombies are quite scary in sight, but somehow, i know how to play this game. But there's one more thing. I could rather yell the next time i play Plants vs. Zombies. But anyway, this game is been a hit for everyone. This game was also become a big talk since there are some boys & girls play the game, it's been included in their talk & jokes too. Like 'You look like the zombie in Plants vs. Zombies!' Ok, so my cousins play the game & so do as my BFF. For me, got to play the trial version starting tomorrow & i'm ready to soil my plants.

Ok, so, if it wasn't for my BFF, i didn't know about Plants vs. Zombies yet.

Lost Count

I asked myself, how many times i.....

-Drink a cup of coffee in the morning? I forgot my mom warned me last December about drinking coffee.
-Watch that unforgettable clip from Power Rangers Turbo & i was looking after the 'Keroro Ranger'/'Keroppi Ranger' who looks like Nico Salva of the ADMU Blue Eagles?
-Even watching the clip where an Ateneo-La Salle game done on the month of summer. Sorry for the Blue Eagles because the Green Archers won that game! Hu-hu-hu!
-Watched Kamen Rider Dragon Knight on TV since last May? I was watching the morning re-runs & if i'm lucky, the primetime airings.
-Staring myself at the mirror & i found out i have the eyebags like Maui Villanueva of the DLSU Green Archers?
-Sleep as early as 10pm & wake up as early as 4am?
-Forgot the words 'Shabby Chic'? ARGH! I should not forget about that!
& Many more that i could not afford on posting it here.

But one thing i cannot lose my count on is on how many times i became excited for the upcoming Toycon that will held next weekend. But as early as May of this year, my excitement was focused on that event so it drives me crazy & gone bonkers over that. But, i'm getting started to prep up for that event.

All Of The Fun & Excitement For June 20

WTFH? I was oh-so excited for June 20! Just because that will be day 2 of Toycon. Just because i was the oh-so-excited type for the 2nd Anime Convention i will attend this year, exactly 2 months after Ozine Fest 2010-Day 3. So what will be the usual happenings on that event since it's an Anime convention that will be held at SM Megamall's Megatrade Hall? As usual, shopping for Anime goodies. But hey, since the event will be held in a mall's convention center, shopping & dining will always be an essential. Yes, yes, an essential. So this means i'll have fun there! One more week to go, prep-up! Prep-up! But somehow, as early as the last 2 weeks of May, i got informed on something: POST-BIRTHDAY GIFTS! But i won't tell what it is, even if i know & you guys ask me, it's a secret. So, as the days get closer to June 20, i would rather have to prep up. So, if i were you guys, i'm ready for the biggest happening next weekend!

Maybe i should admit that i attend the Ozine Fest last April by accident, or maybe just good ol' serendipity. But came Toycon, i just heard about it on the internet so i was already informed about that. Yes, it was been 4 years after i attend the last Anime convention so i decided to avoid another excuses on not attending an Anime convention. Time to get serious after all. Just because this is not like 7 years ago. Like today is like 6 years ago where you can see a monster inside every mirror, anywhere you go. But attending an Anime convention after 3 years of not attending? Time to break it. I got to get serious since i have an auntie who is attending Anime conventions. I got no choice. Time to attend an Anime convention as soon as i can.

Bliss Of Attending An Anime Convention

It's been 4 years after i attend an Anime convention, it's been a very, very long time i suppose to say. So last April 11, 2010, it looks like fate drives me to attend an Anime convention at SM Megamall's Megatrade Hall, what it looks like as a post-Easter Sunday gimik turned into an Anime Convention fever. Just because it was day 3 of Ozine Fest 2010. I got no choice but to attend there & waste my time on looking out for some Anime characters. So i told to myself, i want to waste my time on my Anime convention more than watching a bunch of Meteor Garden 1 & 2 replays. (Time to watch the English Dub of Bleach & Code Geass R1 & R2!) So 2 months after attending Ozine Fest 2010 (& after meeting a friend of mine that i can't wait to meet), i'm now excited to attend an Anime convention to be helded at the SM Megamall Megatrade Hall, Toycon! Gosh, i just informed my Auntie about this so i told her that i want to go there along-side w/ her on June 20. Hmm, so that's why before that fateful day to commence, i got started w/ a bunch of plans on that day. But suddenly, the plans turned out to be exciting. So this song came into my head after knowing it last February:

Ok, so it's not just all about attending an Anime convention, right? Not just that. I was even thinking of having a snack & lunch treat at Jollibee, just because for the entire month of June, the toys for the Jollibee Kids Meal that is perfect for girls who are the biggest fan of Mahou Shojo Anime is none other than Card Captor Sakura! (It's only 2 toys: Cardcaptors Mystic Tatoo & Kero Magic Rollnote.) Plus buying some magazines (present & back issues) at Filbar's. Ok, so there's also the time of trying out some yummy frozen yoghurt. I remember after attending Ozine Fest 2010 last April 11, my Auntie offered me to try Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt. What i tried is Green Tea topped w/ Strawberries, Blueberries, Mangoes, Almonds & a Strawberry Wafer. (I called it the Turbo-Powered Green Tea Frozen Yogurt w/ Fruit Toppings) I was even thinking about buying a large tub of Strawberry Flavored Wafers after i tried one last Valentine's Day, but somehow, Strawberry Pocky (Regular & Tsubu-Tsubu) does the trick! I forgot what i should drink, maybe Pepsi will do.

Ok, so now the Toycon will be on by next Sunday, i feel the excitement inside me just because of the post b-day gifts that i will receive. Yes, yes, i was the excited type. (I was like a kid in a sugar rush!) But somehow, i was thinking about what i should wear, what will be my hairstyle & should i put some green-colored eyeshadow since the only make-up i used when going to the malls are lip balm & lip gloss. If that's going to work, it will be a-ok! Because the last time i did that when i went to SM Mall Of Asia for the very first time back 4 years ago. (How nostalgic am i!) So a few days ago, i was itching to get a new hairdo, a Vic Zhou hairdo that will do the trick, the hairdo that dominates into the scene of Toku heroes, including Kit Taylor of Kamen Rider Dragon Knight.
"So i got this hairdo from a Taiwanese Pop Star? Geez, i guess he won't freak out if he saw this!"

Now, i'm excited for Toycon, maybe starting this week, i'm getting a haircut, so, i'll say goodbye to my crazy hairdo & hello to being Vic Zhou for now. But hey, why i have the eyebags of Maui Villanueva? Holy ****!

The Bonamana Week

Toycon is just on by next weekend, i informed my auntie about this last month. Just because she was dropping by at the 5th Floor of SM Megamall, at the Megatrade Hall to check out an Anime convention helded there. It's been 2 months after i attended an Anime con there. The latest was Ozine Fest 2010 Day 3 helded at the mentioned venue. I asked myself when i got there, was it just fate or it's just my curiosity? Just met a friend, just encountered an old friend & shop till i drop. Same thing came Toycon, but this time: Meet friends old & new, shop till i drop & receive post-birthday gifts, my birthday is not over after all, the fever is on until December 20, every year. Just because i said to myself that after attending Ozine Fest 2010, i got to be serious on attending Anime cons at SM Megamall's Megatrade Hall because it was been 4 years after i attend an Anime con. Oh great, i have to return being an Otaku.

Now, my auntie & i texted each other last night the night before Bonamana Week. I told her about the Toycon & what we should do at SM Megamall on June 20. But i have a lot of plans under my sleeve. Like i need to eat lunch at Jollibee so i can have the 2 Jollibee Kids Meal featuring one of my favorite Animes when i was a grade schooler, about when i was in 7th Grade, Card Captor Sakura. (It was actually 2 so it was a must-have!!!!!!) & then, buying some back issues of my favorite magazines & i need to buy the Myx Mag K-Pop Special Edition ish. As usual, i got informed about this via Plurk. So, came June 20, i'll shop, dine & have fun. But as usual, got to buy another KR Decade Candy Toy at Toy Kingdom. I was confused to buy the next one after Decade. Will it be Ryuki/Dragon Knight or Blade? Should i buy both? That was even stuck in my head since i loved it. Ok, came June 20, fun mode, ON!

Ok, so why i declare today as Bonamana Week? For those who don't get it, it's been a week after i heard Super Junior's super-new track which is the tittle of the 4th Studio Album. Now it's been one week after i heard the song, maybe i should get started on listening some Asian Pop Songs. But ok, i got a deal w/ my mom to have a Vic Zhou-like haircut. Just because i feel like i missed the days i was listening the F4 songs blasting on the radio back 7 years ago. Or it's just me watching Kamen Rider Dragon Knight?

I Don't Meant This To Happen, So Forgive Me

(A purely fictional conversation between Meteor Garden's Hua Ze Lei & Kamen Rider Dragon Knight's Kit Taylor the day before the Bonamana Week that will fall on Vic Zhou's birthday tomorrow.)

Somewhere in Katipunan Avenue, 2 young men met at Starbucks Coffee-Katipunan Avenue branch. Lei told Kit that they will have a talk over some Starbucks coffee about the upcoming Bonamana Week Declaration. But somehow, Kit was bothered by Lei's past that will make tomorrow's declaration on a nightmare state.

Lei:I know i'm excited for the upcoming Bonamana Week Declaration tomorrow on Vic Zhou's birthday, but, are you excited for that to happen?
Kit: Yeah, i do. It's been a week after i heard Super Junior's uber-new track. But, 7 years ago keeps haunting me...... *holds the cup of his Starbucks Caffe Mocha*
Lei: Why? You reminded me of the girl who wants to sport your 'do more than mine who has the memories of 7 years ago, the girl who will declare tomorrow's Bonamana Week.
Kit: STOP TALKING ABOUT KITTEN TAYLOR! Don't you know, she is bothered by so many problems, including some problems of hers. Blame it on your College Drop-out girlfriend.
Lei: *grabs Kit from the round neck area of his shirt using both hands, everyone at Starbucks is in the state of shock* WHY ARE YOU BLAMING SHAN CHAI BECAUSE OF THIS? Kit, i know Kitten does want to get either your or my hairdo, just because we have the same hairdo.
Kit: LET ME GO LEI!!!!! YOU'RE NO LEN!!!!
Lei: Tell Kitten to not dump her F4 goodies even during the declaration of the Bonamana Week. IT'S VIC ZHOU'S BIRTHDAY TOMORROW!
Kit: *suddenly dropped from Lei's hands, dropped on the floor* I know, Kitten explained to me. But it will be a double celebration treat.
Lei: Great. Kitten never forgets being an F4 fan even the Power Rangers came into the scene again to get her back.
Kit: DON'T BLAME MACK HARTFORD FOR THIS!

Ok, back to reality, who can't resist thinking that tomorrow will be the declaration of the Bonamana Week on Vic Zhou's birthday? Oh great. Came tomorrow & i don't know what am i going to do. Will i cut my hair short? Find out this week.

From Ventara With Love, Kitten Taylor

"Ruben! Ruben! Buhay ko! Nagising panot na ko! Ruben! Ruben! Iyot can do! Norman, para kong gago!"
-Mola Ko, Super Jaynior (It's You, Super Junior)

7 years ago, it was all about Meteor Garden, i even still remember that i got the orange-colored Meteor Garden tee that i used once for school. Ok, so i even remember on receiving those F4 goodies, it was still on the height of the Beyblade & Crush Gear era. The songs of the Taiwanese Pop Quartet was been blasting on the radios back then, i even stumble upon a CD sampler w/ some F4 songs on it, lucky enough to have an uncle who was once worked for Sony Music. (Will a Vic Zhou autographed pic is worth a million bucks than a Chris Tiu autographed pic? Chris Tiu was a rookie during that time. He kinda looked like Kane of Sazer-X, but now, he's 1 of Ateneo's hotshot legendary players.) Ateneo was not the word in my vocab during those times. Even i would play my hair ala Vic Zhou because i was singing his 1st solo track, 'Make A Wish'. As of this moment, many boys & girls in the Super Sentai, Toku (mostly on Kamen Rider) & the Power Rangers grabbed Zai-Zai's hairdo. So, i was even thinking of sporting a Vic Zhou-like hairdo (not like Vic's but just like Adam Tuominen of PR Ninja Storm, blondie Lei!) w/ a heroic twist. (Lei's layered hairdo+Inou's bangs=Kit's layered hairdo.) So, i won't dump my F4 goodies for now. Lucky me.

Welcome to Katipunan Avenue, the home of Ateneo De Manila University. Since 2007, i receive some Ateneo goodies from my little sister who is an AB Economics student who studies at ADMU. Unlike my F4 goodies, my Ateneo goodies are precious yet priceless. Welcome to the days where Chris Tiu got a 2-year stint in the Blue Eagles as their team captain & in his final year, he lead the team to end a 6-year tittle drought. Copies of 'The Guidon', 'Matanglawin' & 'Tanga'; pins, outfitters & accessories from Get Blued, a lanyard & a baller band from Dugong Bughaw, Blue Books & magazines related to Ateneo. Call me a certified TIUnatic because i belong to a group of girls who are the biggest fans of Chris Tiu. I remember back 2 years ago, my tita brought me a copy of Blue Blood, geez, Chris Tiu is on the cover, all about UAAP Season 71, the 2nd craziest yet twisted season, after UAAP Season 70. So what's next for me, sporting a College Cager-like look? (Vic Zhou's layered bedhead layered bob w/ the hints of the spiky 'do's of Chris Tiu, Nico Salva & Jai Reyes & having Maui Villanueva's eyebags, ACK!)

But somehow, there are mirrors either in Taipei Towers 101 or Ateneo De Manila University, the gateway to Ventara. Always bring an Advent Deck. General Xaviax is on the loose!

My Little Brother Is No Kamen Rider

Last night was the cheekiest moment of my entire life, even there was a simple house party going on because of my parent's wedding anniversary. My little brother stumble upon my Kamen Rider Decade Candy Toy that i bought at Toy Kingdom 2 months ago when i went to SM Megamall for Ozine Fest 2010. I was even thinking about buying the next Candy Toy for that, my choice is between Ryuki & Blade. (Or maybe both instead!) I call him 'Ass Si Lei' while he calls me 'Drew Lasing' (If you don't get it, it's Drew Lansing, Christopher Foley's character in Kamen Rider Dragon Knight which i'm watching right now.)

"Don't call me Drew Lasing Because i'm drunk!"

Yes, yes, my little brother was acting like silly & i was punning him w/ some thoughts that rushed into my head, i pretend to be Kit Taylor. But somehow, my little brother even acted like he was a Super Sentai or Power Rangers hero. He's no Inou Masumi or Adam Park by the way! Like thinking why Vic Zhou made Maui Villanueva cry. Because of the hair. & speaking of hair, i was vain about my hair, if i want to cut it short & layered ala Lei, Hunter or Kit or curl it like Adam from PR Turbo. Hu-Hu-Hunter? WAH! That's oh-so end of Freshman Year HS! Somehow, i told to myself when i saw my little brother pretending to be the heroes i love to see:

"You're no Kamen Rider or Power Ranger or a Super Sentai hero, you're like Lei! Who do you think you are, Len? Hell no!"

That's cheeky, like i request my tita to go to Quiapo carefully to buy my favorite DVD's. Like the question is, my little brother will surely watch my Power Rangers DVD's & the Kamen Rider Dragon Knight DVD. Ok, i want to dance at the disco in a Kamen Rider Dragon Knight costume.

Bouken & Bonamana

Song of the moment:
Since Wednesday, this song will be stuck in my head. Oh great, it reminds me of the cheeky F4 days back in High School, playing my hair like Vic Zhou, during his days when he looked like Hua Ze Lei. God, Zai-Zai's new hairdo right now will make Maui Villanueva of the DLSU Green Archers cry of shockness. Like why would a Taiwanese Pop Star get the hairdo of a Green Archer? I don't get it. But somehow, i'll be waiting for a Maui Villanueva picture flood anytime.

Ok, so i found out that Boukenger was the Super Sentai series i got the most number of pics via comments on my Friendster since 2008. After a friend of mine from FS introduced me to my 'Bouken' man. Like what the heck? But came June 19 & 20, here comes the Bouken days, baby!

Kit Taylor, if you got this hairdo instead of that Vic Zhou-like hairdo, you'll be fine. Ditch being Lei, KR Dragon Knight.
