Halloween Times

I think i remember some Halloween memories of mine when i was still in Junior Year HS. The big-time costume: black-colored shirt w/ a Rinoa Heartilly Airbrush Print, denim jeans & rubber shoes, a witch's hat from my mom & the classroom broom will do the trick. Play Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' & the classroom is now surrounded w/ ghosts, witches & Halloween creatures. Good thing i won best in costume, even my costume was way too simple. But in the end, i end up being the prepped up girl for the party. No wonder since 2003, i'm always the life of the party, no matter what theme will be, even i have to look scary. But never mind, the highlight of this scary time of the year is the trick or treat. Kids in scary or cute Halloween costumes goes house after house to collect treats in the form of candies & toys. Will the young adults do trick or treating too? Not unless if they want to join along w/ the kids & have the feeling of being a kid again. You know, remembering the good times when we are young surely pulls out a good feeling & a positive vibe.

That's crazy, horror movies are now on the loose one after the other day after day. I still have the hangover of that horror movie that i watched 2 months ago, a few days before Ateneo-La Salle R2 for UAAP Season 73 that makes Simon Atkins, the team captain of the DLSU Green Archers a zombie, due to the black eyeliner & prosthetics that turns him from 1 of La Salle's promising players to a ghost that might give Eric Salamat & the ADMU Blue Eagles a deserved scare, away from the hard-court. I just imagined how the players of the 3-time UAAP Champions scream loud as they ran for their dear lives as Simon gives them the ultimate scare. But now, my mom surely loves to watch horror movies. Let's remember, we surely love to hear the stories related to the world of the super-natural & the unknown. We also heard about beliefs that has a twist of mystery, making us curious. But somehow, i'm looking forward to watch Asian Horror Movies from Japan, Korea & Taiwan. Happy Halloween, everyone!

Japanese Hero Cute Boy Love

I feel like when having a crush on the hottest Toku heroes, especially the cutest boys, i won't deny it, especially when it comes on my favorite Toku crushes. Cute Japanese boys who could almost sacrifice their dear lives to save the lives of others. But in real life, they don't have powers after all. But what they got? Talent & potential. But how come they entered this field which is somewhat different? They don't really impress, but to express their personality. But they don't bring their characters that they play in their respective Toku shows to reality. Because in real life, there's no monsters to defeat but only problems is considered their personal monsters, they don't have a device to transform them from ordinary to extra-ordinary but a smile will surely be the perfect device & lastly, they don't have any weapons, their only weapon is how they impress themselves on camera. But what is one thing they have? The energy, the good vibe & the positive attitude that they pull out as they open up to the characters they play. But how come they become the Japanese heroes they play in their Toku shows? Can i ask this simple question why the boys of Toku never lost their energy, some of them even contributed their other talent like singing? (Admit it, some of them are singers & band vocalists. They even sang songs for their respective KR series, that's what i called Rider Contribution!) Now, let me count the ways.

These guys want to get out of their comfort zone. Something like after playing roles in other TV shows, they have never done one thing, becoming a hero? Or maybe they thought to themselves that they never become superheroes as they enter the entertainment business in Japan. So, these boys decided to do the unthinkable. If they wished to be part of the best Japanese Superhero franchises like Super Sentai & Kamen Rider, their wishes will grant, even they just don't know about it! Surprise, surprise, their hardwork & good impression to the public might give them the ultimate break on becoming a hero. But somehow, becoming a superhero is like they are now opening a door to a new world, away from the world they already know. In the new world, they have superpowers & weapons, they also have devices that could transform them in the hero which is meant for them. & the enemy? A big monster which is bigger than their personal problems in reality. As they say the magic Japanese keyword for transformation, they will never be the same human beings again. But after all, they are just humans, anyway.

So, maybe after all of that saving the world against evil is already done, reality for them will be way to different than before. But being a hero? They will leave a mark that they were chosen to save the world from evil forces who tries to dominate & rule the world. I'm sure the boys are not just only ones who appreciated Toku, even the girls. Just because the boys of Toku are cute, nice & of course, awesome! So, if you're way too tired of the drama boys who could make you cry but looking out on boys who are kicking some serious enemy butt? Have a dose of the Toku boys & your life will never be the same again. I even found out that when i have a crush on the boys of Toku, my life will never be the same again. Totally. These uber-cute Japanese Hero boys surely leaves a mark on a note that saving the world is their job as a hero, but impressing the girls? Their good looks might count on it.

Nico Salva's Goosebumps (Who Has It?) & The Vic Zhou-Maui Villanueva Face-Off

"I just get goosebumps....." -Nico Salva, ADMU Blue Eagles

Take those thoughts from Mr. Salva before ADMU Blue Eagles Team Captain Eric Salamat concludes it w/ ".....when i salute the crowd, after a big play." added w/ a salute. But i feel that why did Nico didn't conclude that? I guess it's like a 'complete-the-sentence' game right now. Don't tell me i get goosebumps because i found my first crush? No, it's not Hua Ze Lei. It's Adam Park. Uh, the silent kid got a taste of a Falcon Kick from a Jumbo Escueta & Justin Chua-looking Power Ranger. (Let's admit that Adam Park is a mix of some Ateneo players. But it's like a combination of Nico Salva, Jason 'Jumbo' Escueta & Justin Chua. Hurray for his Chris Tiu-inspired Chinese looks!) So, i decide to play a game of 'complete the sentence until i end up playing it. Like I Just Get Goosebumps Whenever I Hear A Vic Zhou Song In My Head. (Oh crap. I just sing Mandarin when in Pinyin.) Those memories of 2003 could be fine if i could watch The Poor Prince all over again. But that was after the time Vic Zhou's hairdo was so Lei-ish, before he makes a Green Archer cry. (Poor Maui Villanueva!)

No way, the first time i saw some really-new Zai-Zai pics around last year, those Nico Salva-ish goosebumps were unleashed as my eyes become wide-open. Has Vic Zhou realized that he might end up as Maui Villanueva's missing older brother? Just because the youngest member of 1 of Taiwan's hottest pop groups does mistaken for the 3rd Year Green Archer who is formerly from UPIS & Higashiyama High School. Sorry guys, i still don't have any Maui Villanueva solo pics for now. But sorry Zai-Zai, Maui is still drop-dead gorgeous when he's on the hardcourt. Whoever thinks of a plan to give me a link full of Maui Villanueva pics from greenarchers.ph, FINE! Thank you in advance. But between a Taiwanese Pop Star & a Green Archer, Maui wins this face-off. Just don't give Maui the microphone, he can't sing. Just give him the basketball, bring him to the hardcourt & see him shoot hoops, rebounds the ball & block the opponent's shots. (So that's why during the Ateneo-La Salle R1 Game during UAAP Season 73, on the battle of the forwards, he was compared to Nico Salva.) The problem right now for Maui is those eye-bags underneath his eyes. (I hate it when my mom throws bad puns over him like he's a insomniac Archer.)

I found out my first crush is a Power Ranger, thanks to the Nico Salva-ish goosebumps that lingers me whenever i watch those uber-cool PR clips on YT. Now, when Vic Zhou says goodbye to his trademark bed-head hairdo as he already got a Maui Villanueva-inspired hairdo, he makes 1 Green Archer cry. Sorry Vic, Joshua Webb doesn't listen to a sappy Vic Zhou tune. He might end up as a rock-star in a Green Archer jersey.
I still need those Maui Villanueva pics! Or else, the ghost of Simon Atkins will haunt you in Halloween next Sunday!

A Very Different Semestral Break

This year's semestral break is waaaaayyyyyy too different from the past semestral breaks since 2003. I remember when i was still in High School, the words 'Sem Break' for me is all about having fun after the heart-stopping first semester. Sometimes, we would rather go out of town for a vacation or even i would love to drop by at my Grandma's house to waste the boring days as take a break from being a student. Maybe i can't forget the crazy Sem Break of 2006 because that was the craziest Sem Break of them all when i was in Junior Year HS. Semestral Break is always a part of student life where every student needs a break from a bunch of school work. Yeah, like i would watch some replays of UAAP Season 73 right now. There are 3 breaks of every student, Semestral Break which it takes 2 weeks, Christmas Break which also takes every 2 weeks & Summer Break which takes the longest of them all, 2 months. Maybe i admit i remember when i was in Sophomore Year HS, that was the craziest sem break of them all. No, i don't watch a Meteor Garden marathon thinking about getting Vic Zhou's hairdo. I just attend a baptismal, i was the youngest god-mother of them all, i was 17 back then. Sheesh~ Maybe i just want to be the youngest god-mother of them all, even i would read a bunch of school-books balancing myself as a student. (Think that i'm the youngest God-mother who sports the hairdo's from Taiwanese Pop stars to Japanese Super-heroes to Blue Eagle cagers to Green Archer cagers.) Maybe the next thing i would do is to wear some Ateneo or La Salle-related studs.
It kinda reminds me right now of 5 years ago. Now, i become the auntie. Just because a cousin of mine is already a happy father. What? I tried baby-sitting when i was in Sophomore Year HS! So, maybe i would try to become the perfect auntie even i sport a Vic Zhou hairdo & dress up like the many Ateneo fans via the Nike-Ateneo Team Gear. Maybe this year's sem break will be the very different one gets even more interesting w/ a PS2? Cool. Don't even wait for the 2nd semester because this year's sem break will be as mind-blowing as it gets. If the Meteor Garden replays does drive you nuts to see Vic Zhou over & over again, try to watch a Power Rangers Operation Overdrive replay this year. James Mclurcan can be the hero of the moment. Try to give your school bag a worth-it wash so you can use it for the upcoming 2nd semester. & lastly, don't forget to study. Don't waste this sem break for nothing. But for now, i guess i would try to complete a promise from last summer. A promise from my favorite playmate. So, enjoy your sem break, everyone.

Itching For A Hair Color

I just thought about this last night after i checked out the site for the new L' Oreal Professionel Hair Color System known as Inoa. I also checked out a page featured in the October 2007 issue of Candy Magazine which i got a few months ago. Ok, so my mom wants to keep my hair long & get a long, layered haircut a few days before Christmas day hits December. So maybe for the haircut, i might do the unthinkable. I never had my hair colored for more than 20 years in my dear life, i just end up using colored clip-on hair highlighters instead. But now, due to my personality matters & ending up having a crush on the hottest Japanese super-heroes even i'm also a fan of the UAAP's top teams like Ateneo & La Salle. I have to do the unthinkable where no Blue Eagle/Green Archer fan will do. I have no choice but to give my hair the perfect color it needs. Like what? I need a hair color? Fine! I don't want to end up looking boring since i survived numerous hair catastrophes of my dear life trying to give style to my crowning glory. (Does wearing the blue-colored afro wig counts? Only if i could watch a live Ateneo game for next year, that will count.)
Ok, so buying blue-colored wigs are only for watching a game of the Ateneo Blue Eagles will count, but coloring my hair to virgin black to a color of my choice using Inoa Hair Color? Hmm, let me decide about the hair color. As i browse pics of my favorite Japanese Super Heroes, i guess i found the perfect one. After i stumble upon this pic:
Oh my goodness, don't call me Little Miss Blue Eagle for nothing. Let me admit that Shouta's hair color is sort of milk chocolate brown in shade. It's like i was i feel my love for milk chocolate bars like craving for a Kit Kat. But having Shouta's hair color could be a piece of cake, i feel like i'm not the same person again. Now this will be more difficult than buying more than 10 bottles of a leave-on hair conditioner to beat the frizz in my hair! Don't think i'm just like Vic Zhou steals a hairdo from Maui Villanueva. Think i'm Jumbo Escueta who tries to be like Masashi Mikami. :) (That's why for 3 years in a row, the town is still painted in Blue!) I would rather look like a mix of a Japanese Super Sentai hero or a Power Ranger fusing w/ a Blue Eagle or Green Archer. (Nike-Ateneo Team Gear & Adidas-La Salle Team Gear is still an option.) So, what will be the biggest hair style of choice? Long, layered hairdo w/ my hair colored in shades inspired by the hottest Japanese Super Heroes, Power Rangers & cagers from ADMU & DLSU. I nearly forgot, i would also love to have Kirk Long's brunette hair w/ blonde highlights that he sported last season. So, i have so many choices on coloring my hair.

For now, goodbye to the disasterous hair styles that could let me on not achieving Vic Zhou's famous bedhead before he make Maui Villanueva cry because he steals his hairdo. The chocolate-colored hair that Masashi Mikami dons in Boukenger & the chameleon hair colors of Kirk Long upon his arrival for the Ateneo Blue Eagles for 4 consecutive years (Thanks to his older sister who learns hair styling abroad!) was like making me think of itching for a new turn in my hair. Japanese Super Heroes & College Cagers were my inspirations of giving my hair the color it needs. For now, i don't just itch for a hair cut, maybe a hair color might work. Let me try the magic of Inoa.

Semestral Break & 2nd Semester Surprise!

Semestral Break is already here! Before 2nd semester kicks off next month, students need a break from a heart-stopping 1st semester full of work. Somehow, i'm just looking forward for the PS2 of course. Well, if it wasn't for Auntie Maya, this year's sem break will never be the same again. I guess, not unless i would have to wait for the 2nd semester to kick off. Would i try to spend my time playing on the PS2 in the afternoon except on Thursdays where i waste my time watching the replays of UAAP Season 73. PCCL kicks off on November 18, let's see if Ateneo creates history again. Sorry guys, i'm focusing on attending the upcoming Ateneo Campus Bazaar on the merry month of December since i'm waiting for the Jollibee-related scenario at Jollibee-Katipunan Avenue which is fronting ADMU. (The scenario? If the Power Rangers Operation Overdrive toys are re-sold there & i'm in Blue Eagle territory. Can you say Overdrive, Accelerate meets One Big Fight?) Well, anything can happen in Katipunan Avenue, all we need to wait is for December to arrive.

The surprise is, my Auntie just told me last month that they will gave us the PS2. But what's this, only with 3 games? Hell no! I want all of the PS2 Games that they had! Well, it would be interesting if i waste my boring time waiting for Thursday's UAAP re-play games if i play my favorite games on the PS2 like Tekken & Naruto. But on the weekends, i would rather go out on Saturday nights if dad is not at home by a Saturday night, like what we did last June which was the best of them all. Maybe, i'll spend my boring afternoons glued to the PS2.
So far, it's like a race against time between me & my Auntie on who's going to get the 2 Jollibee Kids Meal toys for PR Operation Overdrive if it's on a re-sale before this year ends. If Auntie Misato has it, i might drop by at Grandma's house & claim it while i would love to munch some light snacks & watching Power Rangers RPM & Kamen Rider Dragon Knight. (Plus of course, good 'ol souvenirs from there like food & Uncle Kaji's Anime-related thesis from 1 of his students at AC.) But if i have it, i might end up drinking too much Coke Zero like what i did last June. If either one of this scenarios happen before this year ends, nothing beats seeing my Auntie watching PR RPM on weekends. (Caught! My favorite Auntie is watching Power Rangers RPM (Racing Performance Machines) on weekends! I guess she is bitten by the PR Bug i guess.) Let's see which scenario will happen. Will it be mine or for Auntie Misato? Let's keep our fingers crossed for that.

Are you ready for HIAB Version 2 next year?

Are you ready for HIAB Version 2 next year?

Answer here

Auntie's Surprise

Last night, i was writing some stuff in my PR Operation Overdrive notebook, it was quite a see-saw day for me yesterday that could almost land me in sleeping for 2 hours. (While the TV is on for the replays of UAAP Season 73!) While jotting down some notes, i suddenly thought to myself that what if there was a time that the 2 Jollibee Kids Meal toys for PR Operation Overdrive are on a re-sale, Auntie bought both toys behind my back & I DIDN'T KNOW IT! Oh no, that's what i called a surprise is created behind my back. Let's say she would set me up on dropping by at Grandma's house over the weekend either a visit or vacation. (Let me confess, my Auntie is watched Power Rangers RPM!) As i drop by there, nothing fancy happens, just a drop by & suddenly, the surprise happens. So, read on the conversation below on what happens when i found out that Auntie did her surprise behind my back & i didn't even know it!
(At Grandma's house)
Jumbo-tan: So, you have a surprise behind my back? You didn't told me. You texted me that i need to drop by here this weekend, is this a set-up of yours?
Auntie Surprise: Jumbo-tan, so that's why i told your dad to bring you here because of this! *shows 2 small plastic bags containing 2 toys*
Jumbo-tan: *eyes become wide-open & jaw drops* WHAT THE ATENEO BLUE EAGLES IS THIS????? This is the 2 toys that i've been begging for since September! You mean.....
Auntie Surprise: I bought you 2 Jollibee Kids Meal toys for Power Rangers Operation Overdrive behind your back during the week! I did it in secret so i would surprise you this weekend!
Jumbo-tan: So, you mean that you bought it behind my back! I DON'T HAVE ANY IDEA AT ALL!
Auntie Surprise: Look Jumbo-tan, i went to Jollibee w/ my office-mates for lunch & i found out that the Jollibee Kids Meal toys sold last September are on a re-sale. So, i bought you the 2 toys for PR Operation Overdrive together w/ the meals. You were at this event related to the Philippine Comics industry during that time. I didn't told you about it via text, so instead, i texted your dad to bring you here so you can pick up the toys & the meals! Isn't this the best surprise ever, Jumbo-tan?
Jumbo-tan: Surprise gone Overdrive. *rolls eyes*
So, this means Auntie has a surprise that she does behind my back, i didn't understand & somewhat, a worthy surprise that could turn my life on the right track. It was just right that my dad's relatives could give me a surprise or 2 that i even didn't know, a surprise that could turn me into a better person. If that happens, i might even pull out a better look more than the usual outfits i wore. Looking classy than boring, having my hair pig-tailed using cute pig-tail holders & there was a designer bag clinging or hanging in my hands or shoulder. This could be the craziest sem break ever as the 2nd semester draws near. Get ready for the craziest surprises to come.

Overdriven Me

"Forgive me if i'm like this."

In 2 months, Auntie Misato will give me the best gift ever, the Overdrive Tracker. Maybe she might buy the entire PR Operation Overdrive toy roster that is sold at Toy Kingdom. It looks like it reminds me of the picture i saw in my Auntie's bedroom, it still framed for almost 2 decades. I was the little girl in the picture, been carried by my Auntie, holding a balloon, but as what i know, i was just a baby girl. Will this push her to the limits on buying the biggest Christmas gifts ever? I might be on the state of shock & surprise after all. But there's a lot of surprises at my grandma's house. Maybe in my surprise, she might buy the 2 Jollibee Kids Meal toys for PR Operation Overdrive upon on a re-sale, behind my back & she doesn't told me, i was more surprised. I almost dropped my pink-colored Pucca bowling bag from my hand or from my shoulder as the strap slides down from the shoulder to the hand, carefully landing on the floor. My eyes are wide-open & i almost dropped my jaw. That might happen before the year 2010 ends. Ok, so i'm not just the only one who is overdriven. Even my auntie does.

Sorry for thinking too much about Christmas day, just because last year, i just have less gifts, maybe a box of Pocky Almond Crush imported from Japan is the best gift ever. This year, maybe it's not just the Overdrive Tracker or even the Pocky from Japan. So, for me, it's toys & Japanese snacks. Great. It would be just like i had the best Christmas season ever. I just surpassed an almost nightmare of my dear life that i would decide to live in my Grandma & relatives on my dad's side, being away from my dear father. But in the end, dad wants me to stay at home. He even thinks i was a Power Ranger, but i don't have a morpher like an Overdrive Tracker. (Maybe the Ateneo gear could count.) I just found out that Auntie Misato is watching Power Rangers RPM on weekends. Maybe if there's a holiday on a weekend, she could rather waste her boring time at Grandma's house, watching PR Operation Overdrive. But what will happen next when i just found out i will have the best Christmas season ever this year? I might even think about of changing my hairdo for now. I don't want to express a sad mood on a cheery holiday like Christmas.

Let me wait for 2 months for that to happen.

The Obsession With Cupcakes

Let me admit, i always love to see pics of cute cupcakes in my Tumblr. & when it's cute, i would rather re-blog it! But it looks like i'm somehow obsessed w/ cupcakes right now. Even those cheap cupcakes which are sold in supermarkets which i usually eat when i was still in Grade School. But to make it look cute or classy, let me buy the whipped cream, small candies, candy sprinkles & cocoa powder, cinnamon powder & of course, the syrup, which is either chocolate, strawberry or caramel. Yup, cupcakes which are now out of the ordinary is been a hit right now. It looks like when i take a bite of it, it would be sinful, i might forget that i have problems in life right now. I would end up remembering the days when i was a kid, having fun while playing at the playground.

Yeah, yeah, i was obsessed w/ cupcakes right now, so, i remember there was a time dad went home after a Friday's worth of schoolwork as a budding professor, guess what i saw in the ref. Yes, Lemon Square Caramel Cupcake. Yummy, my stomach started to grumble. I got no choice, before my little siblings get it & eat it without a trace behind my back, i eat it, the call of the stomach bothers me a lot. So, it looks like i remember one year ago, i munched in to a Cupp Keyk Choco Topps, i would rather prep up the handkerchief because it will be a chocolatey mess. Now, as the Ateneo Blue Eagles win their 3rd UAAP Championship in their 3rd year in a row, i might end up eating a bunch of cupcakes while i'm in an Ateneo tee, my nails are colored in blue & there was a hot or cold Milo 3 in 1 For Adults in a tall Ateneo tumbler. Ok, so, maybe i should include the cupcakes on the Ateneo Blue Eagles Eat-all-you-can feast for the fans. Where is the blue-colored food coloring? (Hee-hee.) I love my whipped cream colored in Blue.

That's crazy, i'm hungry right now, where's my cupcakes?

Ateneo-Style Bragging & Brashing Rights

Another 3 months of intensive basketball action in the UAAP world drawn into a close as for the 3rd consecutive year, the kids of Katipunan Avenue paints the entire town in the shades of blue & white. An Eagle unleashed it's mighty wings & flies on a higher new ground. You cannot under-estimate the hearts of the champions, 16 young men who are chosen by a former PBA import who become 1 of the UAAP's top coaches to represent the team based from Katipunan Avenue & Loyola Heights. After 6 years of heart-break, they were destined to become champions again. In the hype of the Sesquicentennial Year, they prove to themselves that supremacy is still shaded in blue. This year, a dynasty was built to prove that it's been 3 years of a one big fight. So, how can you guys admit that even they were just 2nd on the team standings, in the end, they will be the team on top? No matter what kind of opponent they will face, they unleashed their fury like a mighty eagle. In the end, the Blue Eagle is still the king. Can you say: B-L-U-E-E-A-G-L-E, Blue Eagle, Blue Eagle, Blue Eagle The King!

Great, my little sister gave me her XL Ateneo Economics Association shirt that she just got this year, can't wait to wear that for Christmas. Hmm, i was just getting started to have more Ateneo tees in my wardrobe. At least it's still another year of the Blue Eagles. What's missing in my Ateneo collection right now is a pear of cheap Ateneo flip-flops that i saw at SM Supermarket, although it's cheap, it's a must-have for the novice or die-hard Ateneo fan. Don't get caught on an Ateneo game not wearing that! After Christmas & before the New Year, i'll try my best to buy the Nike-Ateneo Team Gear like the team jacket & the team shirt. But my little sister who is a graduating student of AB Economics in ADMU will treat me for the upcoming ADMU Campus Bazaar on the merry month of December. Can't wait for that to happen! But it looks like Christmas for me is still shaded in Blue for the 3rd consecutive year. Maybe i need to shop until i drop at the LSB & buy a bunch of Ateneo goodies there. I guess i would love to shop there for anything & everything Ateneo.
Is that it? No, far from over.

That Damn Good Jacket & The Life Of Simon Atkins in UAAP Season 73

This pic was taken during the simple yet heroic opening ceremonies of UAAP Season 73. Yes, if you were one of the million ladies who have watched this last July 10, either at the Big Dome or at your TV sets, do you girls have noticed Enchong Dee? Yep, he was the man in the Archer suit, representing the hero of the DLSU Green Archers. But please, do not ignore the Green Archers Team Captain known as Mr. Simon Atkins. Notice that during he could almost have some goosebumps on because he was the team captain of the team from the host school of this year's UAAP games. But that was also the day Simon scored 20 points, not bad for a career-high far from his poor performance last season. As i admit, this season was called an 'Atkins Season'. No, i'm not talking about the Atkins Diet, everyone. The spotlight is on Mr. Atkins. So Simon, the spotlight is yours, even you would turn into a ghost in a horror movie to scare Eric Salamat & the Ateneo Blue Eagles.

Have i told you guys in a blog post here last August that i was surprised when i saw Simon Atkins in a horror movie? You can see him as a ghost in the horror flick, Sundo. Think he could turn as a ghost & scare his Katipunan-based rivals. (Think Simon scare Eric.) At the start of the movie, i was surprised as i screamed because i saw someone familiar. My eyes were wide open & it was Simon Atkins, the black-colored eye-liner drawn around his good-looking eyes & the cakey white makeup turns him into a cute ghost. (Not like the zombies that you saw in the PvZ game.) I screamed: Hey, he looks familiar, is that, SIMON ATKINS??????? OMLSG! (Oh My La Salle God!) So, let me ask you guys there, is it ok for Simon to play as a ghost in a horror movie? Great idea, he might scare the Blue Eagles soon. But somehow, his horror-movie-worthy looks could think that he was a baller for the La Salle Green Archers. I even admit that my mom throws bad puns over the Archers because of their bad looks. She also throw some bad puns over the Eagles too! Sheesh, maybe on the next UAAP Season, mom should not compare Vic Zhou to Maui Villanueva.
& one last thing. God damn it, i love to have the Adidas-La Salle Centennial Jacket which is according to my Ateneo sister, it's more better than the Adidas-Ateneo Sesquicentennial Jacket. (WHAT?) Maybe i should save up some moolah & buy a size XL of that jacket, it will be my ultimate life-saver aside from the Nike-Ateneo Team Gear like the jacket that Eric Salamat & Jason 'Jumbo' Escueta wore on UAAP Season 73 Opening Day & the shirt, of course. I remember the time i window-shopped for this sets of the uber-cool Team Gear for the bitter-sweet rivals of the UAAP, size XL was the best size for me, no, please don't pun it because that was the same size of the cursed orange-colored Meteor Garden tee. But the Adidas-La Salle Centennial Jacket will be my ultimate life-saver. When it comes on battling the chilly cold weather of the ber-months or just pretending to be Maui Villanueva when the Vic Zhou-like bed-head 'do started to clash w/ the eye-bags i got over my Jumbo Escueta-ish body. Can you say Make A Wish, er. Animo La Salle, anyone? Hee-hee. Never mind.

Bookstore Shopping

What are the items that i always buy in a bookstore? Ballpens, pencils, notebooks, magazines, rulers, scrapbook materials & tools, cute school supplies & many more. I got to admit when i was a kid, i was more of a bookstore freak because i used to collect notebooks. That was when i was in Grade School then. Now, when i was in High School, i was on the fling on buying some school supplies that i need. At the end of January this year, i just got some Scrapbook Materials & Tools that i need so i can get started on creating my scrapbook, that was after i bought 2 Sakura Aqualip Pens. Now, i have to buy more of the Sakura Aqualip & Souffle Pens to make sure i can create art in my scrapbook. I just remembered there was a time before the end of last year when my mom told me to create scrapbooks. It reminds me of the tail-end of Sophomore Year HS during Art class where i created a scrapbook. I was the one who created the most creative scrapbook due to my artistic skills that makes my classmates jealous of me! Yikes! (So, it looks like if i'm going to buy the Fuji Instax 7S Pink Instant Camera, i can still continue creating my scrapbook! What a way to beat the boredom!) Bright idea, Jumbo-Tan. (Jumbo-Tan is me, anyway.)

Then, when it comes on buying magazines, i would prefer on buying either present issues or back issues. I remember last June, i really had a hard time finding a copy of the Myx Mag K-Pop Special Edition issue. Phew, i found a copy of that which was sold at NBS-Trinoma during that time, i was so tired & dehydrated. I almost bought a high-lighter pen along w/ it, but it was not enough. Too bad, Plan B should commenced soon. By the unexpected surprise, 2 months later on the month of August, i was lucky enough that my little brother bought me a copy of the latest issue of Rebound Magazine, where the powerhouse UAAP Team (& 3-time champs, 5th in the UAAP to earn 3 tittles in a row!), Ateneo Blue Eagles graces the cover. I waited until July to have that copy but it was not until chance pushed me further to have that. Even on a rainy day of August 8. I even posted a comment to the Rebound Magazine FB Fan Page & they posted a good compliment, thank god for a little brother to buy me an ish of Rebound Magazine! Woo-hoo! So now, maybe if i would splurge myself for a magazine, try to splurge also for a cheap pen or high-lighter pen of different colors to complete in my collection.
I hate being a home bummer, stucking myself in the computer for the entire time. What was the reason i go to the bookstore? To find myself that i need to learn everything about life like i would learn at school. Ok, time to troop to the bookstore soon, i'm going to buy more of the Faster Mhytik High-lighter pens & more, i'll get started on continuing my scrapbook soon.

The Vintage Kid, The Girl Who Recalls Her Childhood, The Blue Eagle Fan Girl Who Finds Her Freedom

Yesterday, i checked out the official Lomography site & i just found the perfect camera for someone like me. The Fuji Instax 7S Pink camera. I guess that was the perfect camera for me since i would love to take photos of most of the places i visited, like i found out i visited Ateneo for 7 times in 3 years. But maybe the splurge i would do for that is the film, never mind. & speaking of cameras, i have this old yet small Minolta camera that i found on my stuff & kept on my Sleepwell Black, Grey & White striped pouch. The lens should be connected & what's missing? Sheesh, the film. Maybe i would buy it at a vintage camera shop somewhere in Quiapo. Quiapo has everything. From DVD's of my favorite TV shows to accessories & films of vintage & old cameras to beads & bead accessories. They have it all, i would rather beg my favorite Auntie to go there. I was remembering that i will shop for DVD's along w/ her during summer as the sun shines bright & i might end up having a tan. (Hurry up, i need my after-sun lotion because it's burning, i hate it when my tan peels.) So, when that happens in the coming summers, prep up the sunglasses, shopping is on the loose.

& now, i have this urge of buying the 2 Jollibee Kids Meal Toys from Lola & Virginia. What? Should i buy that? Maybe i would wait for the next payment from dad since he needs to pay the entire debt. But since my favorite UAAP Team, the Ateneo Blue Eagles defends their UAAP tittle for the 3rd year in a row, dad should pay his debt to me, IN WHOLE! Sorry dad, i'm in the verge of shopping before the merry Christmas season. But i was even looking forward to buy more Jollibee Kids Meal toys who are on a re-sale mode. Talk about filling the holes on the collection of Jollibee Kids Meal toys that i got so far. (The rule is also applied for the McDonald's Happy Meal toys.) I feel like i'm a kid again, I swear even i would try to find & repair my shattered freedom. But according to top designer Dianne Von Furstenburg, nothing is more important than freedom. The crazy news, i might bring more than 2 or 3 re-usable shopping bags when the toys are priced down. (Get ready for a steal meets splurge thrill in a cheap version!) So for my shopping buddy, which is either dad or Auntie Misato, i feel like i was a kid again. The crazy part, it's not like what happened last June. It will all happen in one day.

Recently, i beg my little sister to buy me an Ateneo Championship shirt. I would rather beg her to buy that since the Blue Eagles created history for a 3-peat. For December, the main focus will be the Nike-Ateneo Team Gear & a pair of Ateneo flip-flops which are sold at SM. So, less the days i would wear the orange-colored Meteor Garden tee, but more are the days that i'm wearing the Nike-Ateneo Team Gear or a pair of the Ateneo flip-flops when the days are laid-back. So, ready for that on December.

Critical Kick Plus The Big LSS: The Petrang Kabayo Theme!

So, are you guys going to watch Vice Ganda's debut lead movie called 'Petrang Kabayo'? So, i was kicked in the butt yesterday & ouch it hurts. No, it's not a horse. It's like there's a monster kicked me in the butt. But good thing, it just ended in peace, a sorry can ease the pain. Well, it's over, the war is finally over. Phew, good thing dad & Puffy pushed me to say sorry. It just reminded me of 4 years ago, can a misunderstanding ending up in a result of finding freedom? I told my dad that i will leave the house for good, i told him i just want to pack all of my things & stay for good at my Grandma's house. But dad told me not to go to the storage room, pack my things & leave him behind, suffering the nightmares i have. He just want to let me stay because we were twins like the cheesy Hanes commercial, just because of a shirt? Definitely. Dad & i are like friends. Even the places that has a part of our lives are different. Although there are so many differences, the blood that flows is definitely the same.

Don't even think about it, the theme song to Petrang Kabayo is surely an LSS. This song surely brings a kick from a horse! So, whenever i listened to it, it's exciting! Well, this song surely can cheer everyone up. So, stop frowning, you don't want to end up in a high kick from a horse!

Perfect Anti-Depressants

Maybe i can't reach the Prozac tablets anymore. No, i will not reach for the razor blade, i don't want to kill myself. Give me 2 different pairs of barber's shears, i'll cut my hair short instead. Silence embraces me, the bad news, i'm depressed.

It all started on an unexpected argument between me & the person i hated the most, which turned out to be, my mom. My dad told me to say sorry but i said i don't want to. Now my mom is threatening me, now i become depressed. I just want to do something bad, suicide won't count. But not eating? Oh no, i might end up in fainting. I was trying to ask myself, will i say sorry to my dear mom? Or will this war continue? Let me think about that since my conscience kept telling me to say sorry to my mom. Will i follow the only rule my dad & my little sister kept telling me to do but i don't want to do because it hurts a lot? Ok, dad, you told me that when i say sorry to mom, it was worth it like when i got the Overdrive Tracker. I'm going to wait for Christmas for that. But somehow, if you pushed me to say sorry to mom, i think i would want to. But let me wait for my dad to come home.
For now, let me ask you guys a question, what will be the perfect anti-depressant of mine? Please help me.

Bitten Not Smitten

I suddenly said last night that i was trying to find a pair of clip-on fangs & a pair of red-colored contact lenses, i was thirsty for blood, i kept telling myself that i might become a vampire someday. For those of you guys what watched the well-loved vampire stories like Twilight, The Vampire Diaries & now, Imortal, i could almost feel that i was thirsty for blood. But the weird part, i haven't finished the book version of Twilight, i was only on the first 3 chapters. But hey, there are also vampires in the world of the Masked Riders. The 2008 hit Kamen Rider/Masked Rider series, Masked Rider Kiva, better known as Kamen Rider Kiva in Japan, which was released a year before Masked Rider Decade that celebrates the 10th Anniversary of the Masked Riders of the Heisei Era has pushed to the limits which is like different from the past 8 KR series of the Heisei Era. It was like there were vampires invaded the world of KR. So, i guess the main protagonist of KR Kiva, Wataru Kurenai which is played by Kouji Seto who is also the lead vocalist of the J-Rock band, Tetra Fang will smitten you w/ his good looks, but beware, he is thirsty.

(Fun fact: Kouji Seto is the 2nd youngest KR actor, next to Rei Fujita of KR Faiz who is 15 years old when he bagged the role of Kitazaki.)
So, Halloween is just around the corner. So, what will be your costume for the trick or treat or Halloween ball you will attend this horror month of October? I know, a vampire, the modern day vampires.

If The Team Gear Fits & Works Plus Some Archers, Eagles, Vampires & Werewolves

I just retired my old yet tattered Ateneo tee from 7th Grade which i bought it at SM Department Store when i was in 7th Grade, why i can't forget that? Just because i remember when i was getting started to watch the UAAP Games on TV, i just bought 2 white tees w/ prints of DLSU & ADMU on it. When i bought the white ADMU tee, i just bought a pair of shorts, cargo shorts to be exact. (Now i need to alter it like making it fit to me & have it's zipper replaced, the old one is broken already, i just want to go back to the good times of being a 7th Grader.) Yes, yes, i retired the tattered Ateneo shirt from 7th Grade after my mom & my little sister told me to not to wear that shirt again, i said to myself that i want to retire it after the Ateneo Blue Eagles wins the 3rd tittle. As all said & done, i retired the shirt, put it in a blue-colored plastic bag, tie it & keep it in my closet. I just want it to be autographed instead like the white-colored I Love Ateneo shirt that i got one year ago & i only wear it 2 times of my dear life, never mind, i might have more than too many Ateneo tees soon. I'm going to look forward for that.

Cheap thrill that i just found at SM just since 2 years ago: flip-flops which has the colors & prints of ADMU & DLSU! Yeah, yeah, my dad doesn't like it, but i do. It will be a lifesaver when i go out & have fun. It will be a lifesaver when i got no choice but to wear the orange-colored Meteor Garden tee. That will be my Team Gear Cheap Thrill because the Team Girl Splurge Thrill will be the Nike-Ateneo Team Gear which i'm raving since Nike is now making the jerseys of the kids of Katipunan Avenue. But the size? Sheesh, size XL, just don't blame on me because i have Jumbo Escueta's body. Plus, i just found the ultimate life-saver: DLSU Team Gear from Unibersidad! Wow, just found some of that in Sports Central & it's a life-saver. So, i'm splurging for tons of Team Gears from ADMU & DLSU as the New Year draws near. I was even thinking about buying Justin Chua's arm sleeve & TS Supernatural B-Ball Shoes. (Justin Chua is an Adidas Athlete, but it's ok.) So, wearing the orange-colored Meteor Garden tee is such a blah because Vic Zhou might turn your Blue Eagle or Green Archer life a slight hint of hell, unleash the inner Ryan Buenafe or Maui Villanueva in you. Instead of attracting Lei, you might attract vampires & werewolves. Beware, we're in the height of the Twilight & Vampire Diaries fever. Now, it's the battle between the Wayan aka the Werewolves & the Sangre aka the Vampires, as the night shines, their war has just began.
Oops, don't forget to watch Imortal tonight! Wait up, where is my red-colored contact lenses & my clip-on fangs? I'm going to feed on some blood right now.

Oh I Wish I Did Last June 9, 2010

From curling my hair just like Adam Park from PR Turbo to having a choice wearing casual shorts & a comfy tee upon my 7th visit to ADMU (2nd on a day!), what am i wishing for that i guess i should do but i didn't? Of course, wearing the orange-colored Meteor Garden tee spells a boo-boo when the destination call is Ateneo De Manila University. Hua Ze Lei's hairdo plus Nico Salva's smile could be a perfect match. But Adam Park's curly bob plus Nico Salva's smile? Oh yes, it's like cookies & milk or any espresso beverage from Starbucks. (I admit that the cutie who plays Adam Park in PR Turbo is the exact clone of 12 Ateneo players from this year's 3-peat team, Nico Salva is one of the 12 players, i guess he has no escape after all.) But then again, those Maui Villanueva eye-bags bother me a lot, mom is begging me to sleep early, my eye-bags now are already gone worse than what my mom got back then. Well, now, what's in the list of oh i wish i just did last June 9, 2010, where the craziness of going to Katipunan Avenue, not talking for the entire night due to a big blue boo-boo & getting Vic Zhou's haircut? Ok, here's the rundown.

-My hair should be curled: Yes, yes, i have this crazy tendency to watch clips from PR Turbo on my YT Channel, i want to get Adam Park's cute curly bob that he sported in PR Turbo. Just because i didn't do that during that time, i better look forward for December & sporting it upon shopping for the Nike-Ateneo Team Jacket & Team Shirt.
-Wearing shorts: It's hot then, but it rained came the afternoon. I guess i found a lesson for myself in fashion.
-No wedge flip-flops: Sorry, i decided to wear it, but i have no choice after all. Don't worry, i'll buy a pair of the cheap Ateneo flip-flops i've seen at SM & wear it upon going out, it's a life saver even the t-shirt i'll wear is the orange-colored Meteor Garden tee. Wait, got to buy the cheap La Salle flip-flops too! I hate making Maui Villanueva cry when he found out that Vic Zhou got his look. (Zai-Zai gave Maui-chan a run for his money.)
-Bring a tote bag: The tendency of watching Gossip Girl or NYC Prep is about seeing girls bringing tote bags w/ their stuff filled in. I guess i need to follow that rule right now.
-Ordered a Grande or Venti Cafe Latte & some cookies from Starbucks: The haunting of 5 years ago is somehow like a moment telling me to order a large chocolate chip cookie & a Grande or Venti drink of my choice like Cafe Latte, Cappuccino or Cafe Mocha. Short or Tall is not enough, Grande or Venti is A-OK & i guess i could sprinkle a lot of cinnamon, cocoa & vanilla.
-Go shopping at LSB: Enough said, they have the best Ateneo goodies there, so what?
-Vic Zhou songs playing in my head: It's his birthday during that time. His songs are mostly on the mellow side of things. Forget his character in Meteor Garden, think him in his songs or videos, either solo or with his group. His bedhead 'do is the best.
Well, if this happened all over again, i guess i need to follow this rules. Fine, let me do it if i have the time.

June In The Ber-Months For This Year?

I guess that will happen. Maybe the events before June 20 of this year will happen all over again in the ber-months. Maybe it will all start w/ a visit to ADMU. Do i remember that? Gosh, it falls on Vic Zhou's birthday a week after i listened to the heart-stopping Super Junior song titled 'Bonamana'. (Bad match: wearing my orange-colored Meteor Garden tee & i found out that the destination is Ateneo.) I just want to have Vic Zhou's cute bed-head when he played Hua Ze Lei in Meteor Garden or on the F4 song 'Meteor Rain' where in the MTV, he sported a cute bed-head that he also sported in some Pepsi ads of 7 years ago, before Chris Tiu & JV Casio dominated last year for Milo 3 in 1 For Adults. But hey, which was the main difference of June 2009 & June 2010? In June 2009, i drink more than 5 glasses of Pepsi & i lost my count. While on June 2010, i drink more than 2 glasses of Coke Zero & a glass of Coke Light. I admit i was more of a Pepsi drinker since 2003, but i guess i also need to drink some Coke Light, Coke Zero & even Milo 3 in 1 For Adults. So far, i don't want to wear my orange-colored Meteor Garden tee when the destination call is Ateneo. But what happens if i wear it in La Salle? It will not work either. So if you want me to wear that if i ran out of perfect shirts, then fine, i'd wear the ADMU &/or DLSU Baller Bands for the better & cover it up w/ some Ateneo or La Salle jackets.

Slight Deja Vu to be exact, but i guess whenever i'm shopping for the Jollibee Kids Meal toys & Mcdonald's Happy Meal toys which are sold again in the merry month of December, i just want to fill the holes in the toy collection that i got so far since 2007 where i completed the toys from Naruto in 2007 for Mcdonald's & Card Captor Sakura 3 years later for Jollibee. Just because i felt there a slight Deja Vu from June 1-19 that will land in the ber-months because buying a free toy is like it's June 1-19 all over again for this year. But i don't want to look like a boring-looking kid. Like having my nails colored in pastel colors & having my hair pig-tailed. I guess i want to look sweet & chic, like a vintage child meets a modern chic. So, to make it eco-friendly, always use a reusable shopping bag when it comes on shopping. I guess i'm getting started to use eco-friendly shopping bags. (Can't wait to brag it to my favorite Auntie & to my favorite Ateneo Sister the toys that i got after i got shopping for those!) But maybe next time, i better look stylish, even if my hair is messed up or i found out that there's a re-selling of toys in the merry month of December.

So, what if June 1-19 of this year is on all over again on the ber-months? It will be exciting, but watch out, a lot of crazy things will happen. So, get ready if i were you.

Paint The Town Blue All Over Again: Ateneo Just Created History

They did it! This time, the Ateneo Blue Eaglets & the Ateneo Blue Eagles are already history-creators because they aim for one goal: 3-peat! Watch out as Kiefer Ravena & Eric Salamat paints the entire town blue. If 2008 ends 6 years of heartbreak because of Chris Tiu, 2009 was the key for Jai Reyes to lock & load for back-2-Black tittles for ADMU's Sesquicentennial Year, 2010, Ateneo says thank you to Eric Salamat for the 3-peat. As we should say, the journey continues for the Blue Eagles, like an eagle spread it's mighty wings as it takes flight on higher ground. The perfect flight-plan, even the Blue Eagles are 2nd in the team standing this season, they proved that no one can under-estimate the true hearts of the champions even some players come & gone in the team. But in the end, defense wins championships & with a pure heart, pure soul & pure attitude, surpassing challenges even it's not a piece of cake could be easy, just keep going, the Blue Eagles surpassed a lot of challenges during this season, even it's not a piece of cake. In the end, they just found the light at the end of the road.
But i guess i discovered something, the Blue Eagles wins their 3 UAAP Championships for 3 years on 3 rainy days! Yeah, yeah, the clouds were gloomy, i don't know why that happened but maybe the Blue Eagles are showered w/ blessings. Like the biggest blessing of them all is the Ryan Buenafe 3-pointer on the dying seconds of the game where he proved that he can create a miracle. Yes, yes, job well done, Ryan-kun, w/ 23 points you suddenly become the Finals MVP. As the final buzzer sounded, the Ateneo Blue Eagles rushed immediately to the hard-court like happy kids as they created history w/ a 3-peat, they got started to put on the championship shirts & they gave each other some hugs. They also prayed after the heart-stopping game, as they say thank you to Bro. Without Bro, where will the Blue Eagles be as of that moment? Before & after the championship games for 3 consecutive years, the Blue Eagles prayed to Bro, it was indeed true that prayers does work for the kids of Katipunan Avenue. As the Blue Eagles created history, tears of joy & happiness started to flow, even Jason 'Jumbo' Escueta can't stop crying because his rookie year ended up w/ a championship & ending up creating history! Aw, the big rookie cried like a little boy. :) But it's ok, he was somehow can't control the feeling he got like he & his team-mates are in cloud 9. Well, history is already created, Ateneo aims for the 3-peat.

Congratulations, Ateneo Blue Eagles, you created history! Now, paint the entire town Blue again!
