I think i remember some Halloween memories of mine when i was still in Junior Year HS. The big-time costume: black-colored shirt w/ a Rinoa Heartilly Airbrush Print, denim jeans & rubber shoes, a witch's hat from my mom & the classroom broom will do the trick. Play Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' & the classroom is now surrounded w/ ghosts, witches & Halloween creatures. Good thing i won best in costume, even my costume was way too simple. But in the end, i end up being the prepped up girl for the party. No wonder since 2003, i'm always the life of the party, no matter what theme will be, even i have to look scary. But never mind, the highlight of this scary time of the year is the trick or treat. Kids in scary or cute Halloween costumes goes house after house to collect treats in the form of candies & toys. Will the young adults do trick or treating too? Not unless if they want to join along w/ the kids & have the feeling of being a kid again. You know, remembering the good times when we are young surely pulls out a good feeling & a positive vibe.
That's crazy, horror movies are now on the loose one after the other day after day. I still have the hangover of that horror movie that i watched 2 months ago, a few days before Ateneo-La Salle R2 for UAAP Season 73 that makes Simon Atkins, the team captain of the DLSU Green Archers a zombie, due to the black eyeliner & prosthetics that turns him from 1 of La Salle's promising players to a ghost that might give Eric Salamat & the ADMU Blue Eagles a deserved scare, away from the hard-court. I just imagined how the players of the 3-time UAAP Champions scream loud as they ran for their dear lives as Simon gives them the ultimate scare. But now, my mom surely loves to watch horror movies. Let's remember, we surely love to hear the stories related to the world of the super-natural & the unknown. We also heard about beliefs that has a twist of mystery, making us curious. But somehow, i'm looking forward to watch Asian Horror Movies from Japan, Korea & Taiwan. Happy Halloween, everyone!
