That Damn Good Jacket & The Life Of Simon Atkins in UAAP Season 73

This pic was taken during the simple yet heroic opening ceremonies of UAAP Season 73. Yes, if you were one of the million ladies who have watched this last July 10, either at the Big Dome or at your TV sets, do you girls have noticed Enchong Dee? Yep, he was the man in the Archer suit, representing the hero of the DLSU Green Archers. But please, do not ignore the Green Archers Team Captain known as Mr. Simon Atkins. Notice that during he could almost have some goosebumps on because he was the team captain of the team from the host school of this year's UAAP games. But that was also the day Simon scored 20 points, not bad for a career-high far from his poor performance last season. As i admit, this season was called an 'Atkins Season'. No, i'm not talking about the Atkins Diet, everyone. The spotlight is on Mr. Atkins. So Simon, the spotlight is yours, even you would turn into a ghost in a horror movie to scare Eric Salamat & the Ateneo Blue Eagles.

Have i told you guys in a blog post here last August that i was surprised when i saw Simon Atkins in a horror movie? You can see him as a ghost in the horror flick, Sundo. Think he could turn as a ghost & scare his Katipunan-based rivals. (Think Simon scare Eric.) At the start of the movie, i was surprised as i screamed because i saw someone familiar. My eyes were wide open & it was Simon Atkins, the black-colored eye-liner drawn around his good-looking eyes & the cakey white makeup turns him into a cute ghost. (Not like the zombies that you saw in the PvZ game.) I screamed: Hey, he looks familiar, is that, SIMON ATKINS??????? OMLSG! (Oh My La Salle God!) So, let me ask you guys there, is it ok for Simon to play as a ghost in a horror movie? Great idea, he might scare the Blue Eagles soon. But somehow, his horror-movie-worthy looks could think that he was a baller for the La Salle Green Archers. I even admit that my mom throws bad puns over the Archers because of their bad looks. She also throw some bad puns over the Eagles too! Sheesh, maybe on the next UAAP Season, mom should not compare Vic Zhou to Maui Villanueva.
& one last thing. God damn it, i love to have the Adidas-La Salle Centennial Jacket which is according to my Ateneo sister, it's more better than the Adidas-Ateneo Sesquicentennial Jacket. (WHAT?) Maybe i should save up some moolah & buy a size XL of that jacket, it will be my ultimate life-saver aside from the Nike-Ateneo Team Gear like the jacket that Eric Salamat & Jason 'Jumbo' Escueta wore on UAAP Season 73 Opening Day & the shirt, of course. I remember the time i window-shopped for this sets of the uber-cool Team Gear for the bitter-sweet rivals of the UAAP, size XL was the best size for me, no, please don't pun it because that was the same size of the cursed orange-colored Meteor Garden tee. But the Adidas-La Salle Centennial Jacket will be my ultimate life-saver. When it comes on battling the chilly cold weather of the ber-months or just pretending to be Maui Villanueva when the Vic Zhou-like bed-head 'do started to clash w/ the eye-bags i got over my Jumbo Escueta-ish body. Can you say Make A Wish, er. Animo La Salle, anyone? Hee-hee. Never mind.
