Why i kept realizing that until now, the best summer that i got is last year where i could think of going to the mall & shop. That was also the time i ended a 4-year hiatus of not attending Anime cons, it all started when i accidentally attended an Anime con at SM Megamall just because i thought it will be just a day of shopping. (*says oh crap in Mandarin* I thought it will be just a boring day but i was surely wrong.) At home, i would rather try a new hobby or watch something new on TV or read an old or new magazine or book & read it until the end of summer as June kicks off a brand-new school year. There is also the time where some family reunions do happen for a birthday. Could i ever admit that these events that happened on the summer of 2010 will happen again this year? If the funniest moment i ever did on the summer of 2009 is to eat some ice cream & Red Ribbon Red Velvet cake while checking out my comments with pics of either Super Sentai or Kamen Rider flooding my Friendster. But on the summer of 2010, the funniest thing i did is i received 2 more samplers of a Sunsilk Damage Repair System 10-day trial kit, the last set? I received it on my dad's birthday. Last year's summer is quite similar to summer 2009 except that summer 2010 has the highlight of the first time i attend an Anime con after 4 years. I remember my little bro asked me if i attend Ozine Fest 2010 at SM Megamall & i said yes. But i didn't told him that i attend there with Auntie Misato by accident. But summer 2010 is actually the start of the National Elections where the entire country is voting for a new leader. C2 then on election day was worth P10 & you need to show a thumb pressed in an ink pad, as an evidence that you already voted. Kamen Rider Dragon Knight kicked off on election day, but i watched it 2 days later on the morning where mom told me that Dragreder is Kit Taylor's 'Guardian Dragon'. Wait, when i watched TV on summer, summer 2009 was focused on the Japanese version of Hana Kimi Live where i first witnessed Hiro Mizushima away from his famous KR Kabuto character. While summer 2010 is focused on Kamen Rider Dragon Knight where i found out Stephen Lunsford was going to be Kit Taylor, the innocent little boy who has Hua Ze Lei's hairdo but has Shinji Kido's personality. (Great, no wonder after i watched KR Ryuki on 2004, KR Dragon Knight was surely no different, it's a must-watch after all.)
The only thing i never did last summer but i'm excited to do this summer is to try something new like learning a new hobby or going out with Auntie Misato to Quiapo to buy DVD's of my favorite shows which focused on the world of Japanese & Western superheroes, Asian Pop Stars, 2 Asian dramas focusing on a girl trapped in an all-boys school as she disguised as a boy & a medical drama where 1 doctor needs to find the cure of his broken heart & some interesting cartoons & Anime. But somehow, i can even do that even in Recto, since FEU is quite near Recto although it's located in Morayta. I would rather bring out the list of my favorite DVD tittles & search them, then buy it & watch it when the days are quite boring. About learning a new hobby, i would rather learn knitting. But i would first know the basic knitting since i'm a newbie in the knitting world. After i found my dad's crochet hook, i was thinking twice of learning how to knit. So, before i pull out my school books & spend the final years of high school by June, i would get started to learn more about knitting.
Ok, may summer of 2011 be like summers of 2009 & 2010. Good luck before i go back in student mode by June of this year.
