I remember i kept a newspaper article back when i was in Junior Year HS, a picture of JC Intal almost losing his breath, almost crying i guess when Ateneo lost to UST for the UAAP Season 69 Championship, does this means he's not a worthy team-captain? Not really, he should not be compared to Chris Tiu who was worthy to be Ateneo's Team Captain for the 2007 & 2008 campaigns where in the year 2008, the Blue Eagles finally claimed their lost glory from their bitter rivals from Taft Avenue. A moment JC did not ever done, but Chris did even he doesn't need to cry like a little boy back in the year 2007 where La Salle defeated them for 2 important games during that time. Don't worry JC, i don't pun you here, it was like we shared the same fate of seeking revenge after an unfortunate event. It was like we relied on one person who can give us salvation in a time where one enemy can take us down. But suddenly, we found the person who is there for us. & you found out that if you didn't do you job, Chris Tiu finished it. Maybe in the year 2008, you rushed to him, saying thank you for saving the team from an unfortunate event. (Good thing La Salle is always Ateneo's pain in the talons.)
Back in Junior Year HS when i kept the article, i was thinking twice if JC is just acting or is he really losing his breath & he wants some fresh air. It's like he is looking for some breathing room. But never mind, he's now back on track on being a hard-court hero. This entry might be quite as a so-called 'JC Intal Tribute', but this is quite a tribute for him. Let's admit that after an unfortunate event like what happened in 2006, he looked for a breathing room to get a hint of fresh air. In the end, he found it.
