It was not until last Saturday when i decided to get a haircut. A Vic Zhou-inspired haircut. But somehow, i found out a lot of shocking updates about my hairdo. Like: I'M SUFFERING SPLIT-ENDS????? OMG!!!!! So, it looks like i have 2 big problems: Hair that lacks life & split ends. But there was more to that, mom told me that my hair is thick, so, it looks like i got the perfect haircut like a thin, Vic Zhou-like hairdo. This look will change the way i focus about hairdos. So, the next time i go to the salon & get a haircut, i should rather bring a picture of Vic Zhou, sporting his Hua Ze Lei-like hairdo, before he cut it short & making himself a Maui Villanueva clone. (Nah, Vic doesn't make the former UPIS & Higashiyama High School standout cry because Maui has a clone in a Taiwanese Pop Star & a member of the coolest Taiwanese Pop Group that started the Asian Drama Craze.) Like if Maui sees his reflection in the mirror, he sees not himself, but the image of someone who looks like him, but never been related to him, it was a clone who looks just like him. Don't worry, Maui-san, you will always be my crush. :)
It's not a piece of cake to get the perfect Vic Zhou-like bed-head. Borrowing my mom's curlers, rolling it using a roller brush, using hair products like styling clays, shine waxes & hair-gels & even tossing & turning while sleeping, i tried it all. But i was just doing this to find out if i could look like Vic while wearing in my Ateneo or La Salle gear. GAH~ I even said to myself last weekend that i was like Vic Zhou meets Nonoy Baclao? OMG! Not unless i looked to myself that i have the body of Jason 'Jumbo' Escueta. This is ridiculous. But i was doing my best, not really to impress, but to find what will i be looking like as i found myself to connect the missing links of my dear life. The first thing i found out that Ateneo has a link to my dear life is that i was born on the year the Ateneo Blue Eagles aimed it's first back-to-back crown, 21 years before Jai Reyes & company aimed the team's 2nd back-to-back crown, using the 'Back-2-Black' term as Ateneo De Manila University celebrates the 150 Years of celebrating excellence, deepening spirituality & building the nation, the colorful & fun sesquicentennial year. Was it ok for me to get Vic Zhou's hairdo but i didn't get his outfits, just ending up wearing Ateneo or La Salle outfitters, cheering for either the kids of Katipunan Avenue & Loyola Heights or the kids of Taft Avenue.
No, i don't want to look like Vic although i'm a girl, i just want to find what i want to know, getting Vic Zhou's haircut while wearing Ateneo or La Salle outfitters? Oh, it's not bad when i don Vic's hairdo while wearing an Ateneo or La Salle jersey. Although Vic Zhou loves to sing mellow songs, as he decided to get a haircut, he might realize that there was a basketball player from the kids of Taft Avenue who looks like him, major flaw? Maui Villanueva can't sing, can't dance, but can shoot hoops.
