What happens on me after i got a spankin', Vic Zhou-like haircut & i suddenly realized that i have these Maui Villanueva-like eye-bags? Oh boy, i even want to buy a Garnier Under-eye Brightening Roll-On since the eye-bags that i got bothers me a lot since 2004 due to sleeping late. Ok, everyone in my family from my mom to my dad to my siblings calls me Maui. Do you think i have the so-called Maui Villanueva Syndrome? Maybe! But i guess not, having Maui's eye-bags doesn't bother me to have the uber-cool La Salle gear. But about the first La Salle gear for me? Maybe the DLSU shirt my little sister has from last year. I used to have a DLSU Cap which i always used for PE Class when i was a 6th Grader, trying to get serious on watching the UAAP Games. But not until July of this year since i respected the decision of Cousin Ace to study at DLSU for college, because there were 2 things that makes him want to go to Taft Avenue which is now known as 'Green Archers Territory': One, some of his friends are there & two, Auntie Maya's house is near to DLSU. If that's what Cousin Ace wants, i respect him. I'm not really just looking after to have the DLSU Gear that includes the new Adidas-La Salle Centennial Jacket that Simon Atkins wore on UAAP Season 73 Opening Day or Animoism shirts or souvenirs related to La Salle's centennial year or some Adidas-La Salle licensed products & team wear that was launched since 2008. If that's what Cousin Ace wants to do, he should follow his heart well. If that's what he wants, it's his decision & i respect him. So maybe, aside from being an Ateneo fan of 3 years, i'm also back as a La Salle fan, since a decade ago.
The article 'Mad Dogs & Joshua Webb' on the latest issue of Rebound Magazine hooked me, it's not just about the life of La Salle's 'Spider Webb', but it's also about how he plays his game w/ the Green Archers. I was surprised that he got 3 tattoos & 2 are slightly seen like the tattoo on his left wrist that means 'freedom' written in Arabic, it was slightly like a tribal sign since the details were something like seen in tribal-inspired arts. While the 2nd one is like a bible verse written on his lower right arm, Joshua 1:5. I wrote down the verse on my Starbucks 2010 planner so whenever i need some divine intervention, i know what verse i should hold on to. That was the time i got started to get hooked again on temporary tattoos. I remember back last June where i didn't got a hard time to buy the Card Captor Sakura-Gifts of Magic toys at Jollibee a month before the UAAP Games, i got the Card Captors Mystic Tattoo first followed by the Kero Magic Noteroll. I haven't used the tattoos for a while but i'll try to find the right timing to use it. I remember i got hooked on temporary tattoos when i was a 7th Grader & i used to collect Digimon playing cards back then. Gosh, good memories from grade school never fades i suppose.
& now, about the haircut, this Sunday, the week before the 2nd face/off between bitter-sweet rivals Ateneo & La Salle that will rock the big dome, i'll end up having a Vic Zhou haircut. The thing is, will it be like Vic Zhou? Or i might live up to my KRDK daydreams & ending up looking like Kit Taylor? It's ok. What's the big deal anyway? (The haircut of Vic Zhou, the eye-bags of Maui Villanueva & the body of Jason 'Jumbo' Escueta on a girl like me? Can i say Retikano & Halikinu? YEAH-BOH!) Missing links: Joshua Webb's tattoos on his arms using temporary tattoos & singing either too much F4 songs or Joshua Webb's favorite song, 'I Wanna Be Your Dog' by Iggy Pop & The Stooges. The question is, where's the Pepsi, Coke Light, Coke Zero & some Pocky on the side? Never mind. Came Sunday, Vic, Maui & Jumbo are the men of the moment for me.
