I was surprised that after the week i decided to watch Kamen Rider Dragon Knight, i found out that Matthew 'Matt' Mullins, who plays Len aka KR Wing Knight, the survivor of the Ventara Overthrow done by the evil General Xaviax appeared in a Pepsi TV ad which was filmed in China. He plays the role of an American guy decided to learn Martial Arts in a temple in the remote rural area of China. To surpass, he has to hit his head on the top of the Pepsi can. (OUCH!) But he was more unrecognizable in the ad because he should look like a monk, everyone recognizes Mr. Mullins now as Len from KRDK. (Now Kit Taylor should see that!)
After Len, it was the year 2003 when Taiwanese Pop Group F4, who first appeared in the hit Taiwanese Drama, 'Meteor Garden' decided to become pop stars. The unthinkable is they decided to endorse for Pepsi. At first, their ads were somehow fun & cheery, but as the years passed, they decided to go heroic, go ancient & go Toku-inspired, they won't give our favorite Japanese heroes a run for their money because of that. Maybe the details of their commercials goes in ancient Chinese-inspired. (Was that like as the same as the UAAP Season 73 teasers done by DLSU? Maybe not, DLSU sticks to the details for the teasers inspired by Mahou Sentai Magiranger, Power Rangers Mystic Force, Masked Rider Ryuki & Kamen Rider Dragon Knight.) If i were you, watch the commercials F4 did & don't drop the Pepsi can to the floor.
Here's a post-viewing note: You might end up getting Vic Zhou's hairdo, ne?
