Living The (Vintage) Teenage Dream

That's silly, the song, 'Teenage Dream' by Katy Perry is my LSS for now since i heard that for the first time last Saturday. It was going to be one of my favorite songs for this year. So, i just found out that 2010 for me is like i'm living the teenage dream. Very interesting, i guess that will be one of my favorite songs for now. (Like if i would upload a bunch of songs & save it on my dad's MP4 Player that he will give to me anytime soon. Don't worry dad, i will keep this since i called this, a techie heirloom.) That's it, why i haven't known about the word 'Heirloom' when i was a kid? I was just 19 when i learned about it by accident as i discover my Grandma's old issues of Victoria & Country Living that is still stuck in the study room & i was the only one who is reading it whenever i drop by there for a vacation or visit at Grandma's house. Being the first grand-daughter surely is a pressure, but Grandma keeps begging me to have a vacation at her house. Hmm, give me some time for that. The craziest vacation at Grandma's house was back 2 years ago on October 31 during the long weekend that falls on a Friday. Perfect moment: watching PR Operation Overdrive on Cartoon Network donning my favorite floral shorts that my little sister gave to me & my tattered Ateneo tee that i just retired last month after the Blue Eagles created UAAP Championship History on a Saturday morning. Now i wish mom will return the floral-printed shorts, there's an importance in those pair of shorts!

Next week, i'll get started to find the stuff i just found out we have it at home. Like the Victorian doll house i got 11 years ago, mom's old magazines & some interesting books like The Purpose Driven Life. I remember Uncle Kaji gave me a book called 'Being Happy' & i read it whenever i feel down & depressed, trying to cheer up aside from ignoring the negative things of the world by turning on the music. (I was even thinking that if i got my very first solo pic of Maui Villanueva of the DLSU Green Archers, it will be the perfect cheer-upper.) But what's up with the stuff that i need to find? Gosh, good memories never fade. Maybe i would love to buy the Initial D Movie DVD at Comic Alley after i watched the movie on a Taiwanese TV Channel last Saturday. (Jay Chou was surely cute there.) It's something like Junior Year HS where i need to collect some Initial D Movie snippets from newspapers. Ah, Junior Year HS is like i got started to live the Teenage Dream from attending 2 classes that could push me to the limit to attending a debut where i have to look more than the usual me as a student & of course, a lot of things.
Sounds like for me, it's a vintage teenage dream for me.
