The Forgiven Ones

With all of what i've heard, thought & felt since the year 2007, sometimes, some events of the past could be linked on what will happen to the present, so before the ber-months roll out next month, let me just spill here of what i thought of the events from the past 3 years during the last decade, what will happen is what we will know in the new decade:

Maybe now, the gods are still not going to forgive Sandara Park's ex-boyfriend a 2nd chance after he got involved on a car accident. Yes, i admit i cussed him too much & this happened, at least it wasn't my fault after all. If he doesn't like K-Pop, fine, but the gods forgive Lee Min Ho a 2nd chance in life, just to end up playing a challenging character in the K-Drama, City Hunter. Wearing a mask & ending up being an assassin of sorts. Yes, i've been raving for City Hunter upon hearing buzzes about the shower scene, the car accident & the character that could make a mark. I could turn his character as a secret weapon against the only one who hates K-Pop due to that he left his Korean ex-girlfriend behind while i witnessed the return of the DLSU Green Archers to give the ADMU Blue Eagles a pain in head back in 2007. Sometimes, i would end up getting in the know inside the UAAP universe instead. But in life, you will encounter some personal demons, but you will also end up some personal allies. Ok, now this makes me excited to watch City Hunter.
In 2007, we said goodbye to Sandara Park, (SCREW HER EX-BOYFRIEND!) but we said hello back to the DLSU Green Archers, we just forgive them to give the ADMU Blue Eagles a deep breather for now. But this is about the return of the legendary rivalry in Philippine sports after a year of silence. (TY Tang is back to give Chris Tiu his nightmare!) We said hello big-time to Chris Tiu, everyone knew that he will end up as modern-day Atenean, being a man for others. But during his last 2 years as a Blue Eagle, leading the way of the Eagles as the Team Captain, they would rather be hit with arrows more than anything else. Arrows aimed from a Green Archer to be exact. But during the years of 2007-2010, we witnessed the bitter rivals upon their transformations, like finding out that Ryan Buenafe goes to Ateneo, Justin Chua confessed on national TV that he's heading to Ateneo, Joshua Webb aimed his arrow to give the DLSZ Junior Archers the crown from Kiefer Ravena, Von Pessumal, Juami Tiongson & the ADMU Blue Eaglets, Kirk Long shined high upon his heart-stopping buzzer-beater against the UST Growling Tigers, Nonoy Baclao is not letting Rico Maierhofer aim that shot during the ADMU-DLSU finals circa UAAP Season 71, Jai Reyes tries to repeat history for the Eagles in 2009 circa UAAP Season 72-Finals despite the Ondoy aftermath, Ryan Buenafe's promise become a reality in 2010 circa UAAP Season 73-Finals & the rise of Kiefer Ravena as the Phenom & so on & so forth. Phew, so many stories, so little time.

Maybe i admit i was no entertainment freak, since i had some time to watch some celebrity talk shows on TV, i would end up instead reading magazines related to college basketball like Chalk, U & Rebound. (Oh, i just got my Rebound magazine latest issue after waiting for almost a week or 2.) I could rather wait for Thursdays, Saturdays & Sundays for the UAAP or Wednesdays & Fridays for the NCAA. & instead of forgiving Sandara Park's ex-boyfriend a 2nd chance, i wish i could tell Lee Min Ho's character from City Hunter to just kill him because of what he did. It could be desperately scary, but i have no choice after all. Never mind, life could let you know who are the demons & the angels. But in the UAAP universe, the Archers & the Eagles are just on-court serious & off-court friendly, rivals on-the-court, friends off-the-court. Let's just forgive Simon & Kirk's teams after all.
