Get ready everyone, if last year, UE crashed the FEU party but they were defeated by the Blue Crew from Katipunan Avenue & Loyola Heights, this year is already the biggest battle of the Nike-affiliated teams. Yeah, i even look forward to buy some Nike gear for FEU & ADMU. The Nike-FEU Team Jacket & Team Shirts are perfect for my dad, he needs a style makeover even he's a busy tourism professor in Tamaraw Territory. While i'll be perfect w/ the Nike-Ateneo Team Jacket & Team Shirts whenever i feel the urge to cheer for the Blue Crew. I also want to think about shopping for gifts for my friends & relatives at ADMU's Loyola Schools Bookstore. Maybe i could buy some cute school supplies for myself aside from some ADMU-related stuff. What about a cute ADMU keychain for my little sister? Some ADMU shirts for my Grandma? Great, i know she idolizes Chris Tiu. Well, i know i might not just shop for goodies at ADMU, maybe at FEU, i would love too. I just realized that among the UAAP member schools i visited like FEU, UP, UST & ADMU, i visited ADMU 7 times, surpassing UST w/ 2 times. Gosh, i was meant to be in the Blue Crew. Like i listened to my mom's story that she got pregnant to me when she & dad were newlyweds & they were once living near La Vista in Katipunan Avenue, not that far away from Blue Eagle Territory, that was the year Mr. Jun Reyes gives the Blue Eagles their back-to-back Championship in the UAAP before the year 2009 when his nephew, Jai Reyes re-created history, handling Jersey number 5.
Like the curious Blue Crew Fan-girl i was, i was finding out the missing links about myself, finding out why i was meant to be a part of the Blue Crew, being the 6th man Eric Salamat salutes. But it was not until the year 2006 when Puffy was in her final year in High School when she decided to stay at Katipunan Avenue & move to ADMU. The Knoller of almost a decade will now become a Blue Eagle. She even promised me that she will buy an Ateneo jacket for me. In 2007, she created history as she was the first member of our family to study at ADMU. In 2008, in the month of December, that was my first visit to ADMU. My little brother starts to crack jokes about how can i remember my first visit to ADMU. Some visits are somehow done in the night, fetching my little sister for class. But it was not until this year, visit number 7. The date was June 9 & it was Vic Zhou's birthday. Oh crap, silly me. It was more of the longest time i was stuck at ADMU. I'd even wish i was at ADMU for more than one hour or 2. But maybe on the next time i went to ADMU before Puffy graduated, i might last for more than 1-2 hours.
2 First-time campus visits in 2008: FEU w/ my dad in April & ADMU w/ my mom & little brother in December, from the hot summer heat that makes me sweaty to the chilly breeze that tickles my skin, it was different. I'd even wish i slather my skin w/ some suntan lotion or drinking a hot cup of coffee or chocolate. I was even thinking of collecting shirts from FEU & ADMU. Even i would add the newest school to my line up of school shirts, DLSU. Thanks to my cousin that i'd wish his wish to study on Archer territory will be granted, just because his heart & his mind tells him to go green. Like my craving for a soft-serve vanilla-flavored ice cream or a yummy meal from Jollibee, KFC or Mcdonalds or a tumbler-full of hot Milo 3 in 1 For Adults. My little sister wants to replace the worn-out ADMU tee that i pair w/ my little sister's navy blue-colored short shorts or blue plaid pajama pants w/ a new one, if she was lucky to score a shirt at a sale at ADMU's LSB. Maybe i can find my dad's FEU Baller Band, ending up wearing a jersey of a player from the Blue Eagles or Green Archers. Would i admit that this is not like 2006? Maybe my curious mind tells me to watch the UAAP Games back when i was a 6th Grader back in the year 2000. Ok, in 5 days, GAME ON!
