It's hard to get Vic Zhou's haircut, i got a new haircut on the day before the 2nd round Ateneo-La Salle face-off one month ago. I tried to toss & turn while sleeping in my bed by night, use my mom's curlers & style it using different hair tools & hair products. But i want to achieve the hairdo Zai-Zai dons in his Pepsi ad w/ F4 back 7 years ago before the domination of the Chris Tiu era in 2007. Yes, that was the perfect hairdo that i'm raving for. I found out it's wrong to wear my orange-colored Meteor Garden shirt if my destination is Ateneo or La Salle. Boo-boo to Jumbo Zhou! (Vic Zhou+Jason 'Jumbo' Escueta, i just thought about that because of myself.) So, it looks like the next time i will go to the salon, i better tell mom that i want to get Vic Zhou's hairdo super-bad & i might end up going to Ateneo or La Salle looking like the youngest member of F4. (Now where are my Ateneo or La Salle shirts?) That was the hardest thing i should do. But maybe i could end up singing Vic Zhou's mellow songs after the day Team Ateneo might do an upset like what Team La Salle did.
Will Ateneo repeat La Salle's major-major upset to FEU tomorrow? That was the question that was running on my head while watching yesterday's UAAP Games. The Ateneo-FEU end of 2nd round elimination game will be all about the battle of the positions, both teams have the twice-to-beat advantage right now & we don't know who will be number one of the Final 4 ranks. But it was too easy to support the Blue Crew, since 3 years ago, it was a piece of cake for me to support the Hail Mary Squad aka Blue Crew aka Ateneo Blue Eagles since the time my little sister went to Ateneo for college. That was during the height of the Chris Tiu era where Chris Tiu leads the Blue Eagles to heal the wounds of Season 69 as La Salle returns after a 1-year hiatus. But when Ateneo ended the 6 years of heart-break, a championship is already brought back to Katipunan Avenue. It was not until the Sesquicentennial Year where i still support Team Ateneo. I had my first 2 Ateneo tees, i started to collect copies of The Guidon & i want to collect magazine & newspaper articles related to Ateneo, La Salle & collegiate basketball. I remember when i was a High School student when i was transferred to COLF, i always look forward for the UAAP Games, yes, i still do.
This year, it was no different as if was still it was a blue-colored year. My first Ateneo tee was autographed by Kirk Long for my 22nd birthday, i even planned to have it autographed & buy more Ateneo-printed tees before my little sister will graduate next year. I suddenly realized that if you support the Blue Crew, it will be easy. Why? The easy part to support the Blue Crew? Believe in the Ateneo Blue Eagles.
